Yuu swore that she'd never get used to the mirror travel as she currently sat with her head between her knees while the others offered the pregnant woman a cup of cold water and waited for her to regain her composure.

"I apologize, Yuu. We should have gone a little slower." Riddle apologized awkwardly as Yuu took the water, giving Riddle a dizzy smile.

"You're fine." She said, taking several breaths before uncurling herself and finally taking a sip of water. "Ugh, I think this is karma for all the shit I dragged Anthony through when we went to Elitch's..." She muttered, recalling her ex-fiance's distressed screeching as they'd go on all of the faster rides. She smirked. "Still fun though."

Riddle offered Yuu his hand and she accepted it, pulling herself up, albeit, shakily and almost pulling Riddle down with her.

Cater smiled as he ushered his underclassmen into the large, castle-like structure.

"Let's start here, at Pomefiore. There's a junior named Rook Hunt who's caught my eye. He has a blond bob cut and a fedora—you can't miss him." He informed the group as Yuu lit up slightly at the mention of her friend.

"Rook is an exceptional player. He performed extremely well in last year's tournament. But," Riddle added, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly as he leaned into Yuu to whisper in her ear. "... he is a bit of an...odd duck, as one might say."

Yuu smirked a bit, nodding. "Oh, I know. But he's a very nice fellow." She remarked as the group rounded the corner to face an elegant opening that led to a large purple, red, and gold room.

"Oh, is that him sitting over there?" Deuce said, pointing over.

She eyed the room before her eyes settled on a trio that sat, the delicate looking boy shakily lifting a cup to his lips. Sitting in front of him, a familiar-looking blonde chided him.

"Whoa. That dude's, like, a glitter bomb in human form. He's basically sparkling." Ace snickered as Yuu elbowed him in the ribs.

"Non, Epel, non. When you lift your teacup, do not insert your finger through the handle. It is most inélégant." Rook informed, picking up a teacup and demonstrating for the younger boy.

"Oh... Right. I'm sorry." Epel, as Yuu had assumed was his name, said shyly.

" I just cannot decide how I want to do my makeup on tournament day!" Yuu jumped slightly at the voice, quickly taking notice of the beautiful boy from the opening ceremony. "I'm thinking maybe that new foundation from Felicity Cosmetics?" He looked to Rook, who immediately flew to his side, praising him.

"Oh ho ho! Mon belle Vil, the Roi du Poison..." He purred, taking Vil's hand in his. "Surely your beauté is not so faint that you need makeup to shine?"

"Of course I don't." The beautiful boy, Vil, as Rook called him, waved dismissively before smiling playfully. "But I don't dare miss an opportunity to accentuate it further!"

"I admire that passion. Magnifique! Très magnifique!" Rook praised loudly, his eyes sparkling with admiration as Yuu's heart warmed at seeing her strange friend so happy.

Grim wrinkled his nose distastefully as he hopped up to Yuu's shoulder. "You're sayin' this guy is some kinda incredible athlete?" He spoke to Riddle before turning to Yuu.

"Somehow, I doubt he's gonna be the target."

"Yeaaah, maybe we should peace out and move on." Cater chimed, tugging on Yuu's sleeve.

Yuu nodded. "I believe you're right."
