[NAOMII'S POV]

I Sat On The Corner And Waited For My Ride. I Honestly Couldn't Believe My Dad Had Kicked Me Out, And My Mom Just Let Him! That Was Cruel! I Wiped My Face As I Saw Headlights Approaching And A Car Stopping In Front Of Me.

"Somebody Call For A Ride." My Grandpa Said. I Nodded As I Got In The Car. I Had Ended Up Calling My Grandparents Since They Knew What To Do In These Crazy Situations.

"Thanks For Coming To Get Me." I Said.

"No Problem Baby Girl. Now Tell Me What Happened Again." He Said. I Sighed And Told Him The Whole Story. Once I Was Done, He Just Shook His Head.

"To Be Honest....You Both Were In The Wrong. You Have No Business Messing With A Grown Man, And Your Father Had No Business Reacting The Way He Did. Though I Probably Would've Reacted The Same Way If Your Mother Or Aunties Would Have Done That." He Said. I Rolled My Eyes And Sighed.

"And NO. I'm Not Taking Sides. I'm Just Saying." He Said. We Hopped Out Of The Car And Headed Inside Where My Grandma Waited.

"Are You Okay?" She Asked, Giving Me A Tight Hug. I Nodded.

"Oh My Precious Girl. You Look Exhausted. Go On Upstairs, Clean Yourself Up, And Get Some Rest. We'll Deal With This Issue Tomorrow." She Said. I Nodded And Headed Upstairs To My Mom's Old Room. I Collapsed On The Bed And Sighed. What A Night! I Grabbed My Phone And Decided To Try And Call Michael, But With My Luck, My Phone Was Dead. Ugh! Just Fucking Great! I Climbed Under The Covers And Immediately Fell Asleep.

**********

The Next Morning, I Was Awaken To A Knock At The Door.

"Naomii...Breakfast Is On The Table." I Heard My Grandma Say.

"Okay...I'll Be Down Shortly." I Said. She Nodded And Closed The Door. I Stretched Out And Sighed. Boy Did I Sleep Pretty Good...Even In My Mom's Old Bed. Oh Well. I Rolled Out Of Bed And Walked Into The Bathroom. Ugh I Feel Horrible. I Look Horrible! I Smoothed My Messy Hair To This Side, And Quickly Put It In A Tight Bun. I Then Washed My Face, And Rinsed My Mouth Out With Some Mouth Wash.

"Well Nae....This Is As Good As It's Getting." I Said To Myself. I Headed Downstairs And Into The Kitchen.

"Good Morning." My Grandma Said.

"Morning." I Said As I Sat At The Table.

"How'd You Sleep?" My Grandpa Asked.

"Pretty Good I Guess." I Said. Ugh...Why Is This So Awkward?

"Naomii...You Know Your Parents Are Gonna Call Looking For You. Maybe We Should Call Them And Let Them Know You're Here." Grandma Said.

"No! I Don't Want Them To Know Where I Am! At All. If They Call Just Tell Them You Don't Know Where I Am." I Said.

"Naomii....They're Still Your Parents And They Love You. They Need To Know." She Said.

"No They Don't! They Kicked Me Out Like I Wasn't Even Their Daughter!" I Snapped.

"Calm Down." My Grandpa Said.

"Can I Just Stay Here With Y'all For A Few Days? Then Maybe I'll Call And Assure Them That I'm Okay." I Said.

"You're Welcome To Stay For As Long As You Want, But As Far As This "MAYBE" Thing...No Maybes! You Will Call Your Parents And Let Them Know You're Okay First Thing In The Morning. Understand?" My Grandma Said.

"Yes Ma'am." I Said.

"Good. Now Eat Your Breakfast." She Said. Wow....She Literally Talked Bad To Me And Now She's Telling Me To Eat? What The Fuck. I Ate In Silence, But Quickly Jumped When I Heard The Doorbell Ring. Please Don't Let That Be My Parents.

"Hey Baby Girl." I Heard My Grandpa Say.

"Hey Grandpa. Is Naomii Here?" I Heard Nevaeh Say.

"Yes She's In The Kitchen." He Said. I Stood Up As She Hurried To Give Me A Hug.

"Are You Okay?" She Asked.

"I'm Fine. Are You?" I Asked.

"No! I've Been So Worried About You." She Said.

"How'd You Get Over Here?" I Asked.

"I Snuck Out And Took Your Car. I Brought You Some Stuff I Thought You Might Need." She Said.

"Did You Bring My Charger?" I Asked. She Nodded.

"Thank You! My Phone Is Dead!" I Said.

"But If You're Hiding Out From Mom And Dad Then You May Want To Leave It Off." She Said.

"Why Do You Say That?" I Asked.

"Because Dad Put A Tracking Device In Our Phones. That's How He Knew Where You Were Last Night." She Said. Well Isn't He A Clever Little Bastard.

"Well You Need To Get Back Home. I Don't Want You Getting Into Any More Trouble Than I Already Put You In." I Said.

"Its Cook, But Please Be Careful." She Said Hugging Me.

"I Will. Now Go!" I Said. She Nodded, Said Bye To Our Grandparents And Left. I Just Hope She Makes It Back Into The House Without Any Problems From Our Crazy Dad.
