Third POV

"CYNTHIAAA!" Sting cried as he punched the ground, his arm rested on top of a tomb that engraved the name of his deceased mate.

Cynthia Adara
X772 - X791
A loving comrade, friend and family.
You will be dearly missed.

"Sting-kun..." Lector cried.

"D-Dammit ALL!" Sting shouted. His heart exploding and breaking into a million pieces, knowing that his one and only mate and best friend... was gone from this world.

It's been two days since the accident of Cynthia's sudden release of high magic in order to protect the world, her comrades and to seal Kurai imprisoned. She sacrificed her life to save them all, but no one even dared to try and bring up her name too much. It was too painful for them to lose a comrade once more.

For Fairy Tail... they have acknowledged this feeling since the 'death' of both Lisanna and Erza, years ago. Even so... they lost another one to death itself. But this was a different experience for the Sabertooth members to encounter.

Both guilds of both Fairy Tail and Sabertooth were crowded in front of their beloved Light Mage, Cynthia's grave at the spot where she has vanished from. All members were in tears, torn and heartbroken of Cynthia's death.

They knew that she wouldn't come back.

Sting knew that too, but he didn't want to forget her. As a promise to Cynthia... he would value their friendship and his girlfriend even so. He devoted himself to his one and only mate, even if she has departed from this world. No one can replace his Cynthia... in his heart. He was heartbroken. Now no one could really cheer him up. This was just like the time when he thought he had lost Lector to Minerva, but in this case... the person whom he really loved for with all of his heart... died.

"CYNTHIA! YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD COME BACK! I WON'T BELIEVE THIS CRAP!" Natsu roared, while Jet and Droy tried to hold him down, and a few others shouted at him for keeping quiet. Meanwhile, Yukino was sobbing into Rogue's chest who didn't care, but was lost in the moment of the death of his best friend.

Erza's look darkened, tears streaming out from her eyes and down to her cheeks. Then minutes later, her waterworks exploded and she knelt onto the ground, her palms on her face to cry out her very being that she was keeping in. Wendy couldn't believe that her childhood best friend either... was gone, right after their mission. She truly believed that Natsu and the others would get her back... but she sacrificed herself for the sake of everyone.

The exceeds were crying in remorse, their heart shattered in pieces to see their comrades tomb that was getting splattered by the droplets of water falling from the dark and cloudy clouds. Especially Frosch... since Cynthia was his favorite person next to Rogue. Her tomb was covered in a couple of bouquets of flowers. Umbrellas that a few girls within Fairy Tail and Sabertooth held but threw them away and started to sob uncontrollably.

Her real body however... wasn't physically there. Instead, after the encounter and the last magic spell that Cynthia casted, her body seemed to have vanish into thin air as her warm gold dust appeared and rained down to see no sign of Kurai or Cynthia at all.

"T-This can't be... I-I mean she w-was just h-here with u-us a few d-days ago!" Lucy exclaimed, hiccuping in between her sobs.

"Juvia can't believe it either...C-Cynthia-sama... is gone." the water mage said solemnly, as tears were dripping down onto her cheeks. Gray noticed this with a darkened look, but gently pulled her into a hug to comfort her. He wasn't too certain of doing this type of stunt, but... for the funeral of their comrade... there's no way he could say no.
