Are Hannah and Pony dating? I thought her and Dally were together? Why doesn't she notice me...
I stood up from the couch "Hey Hannah can we talk outside?" Everyone looked at me kind of shocked that I said something.
"Yeah. Of course." She got up from Pony's arms and walked over to me. We both walked outside. We decided to go to the lot so then no one can drop in on our conversation.
Hannah sat down and I sat next to her. "So what did you want to say to me?" She said breaking the silence.
"Are you and Ponyboy dating?
"Umm im going to be completely honest with you, no we aren't. We're fake dating so Pony can get Cherry jealous. You're the only one that knows. Please don't tell anyone", she looked at me straight in eyes.
" I won't tell anyone."
"Good", she smiled and kissed my cheek. I turned red.
We laid on our backs and looked at the stars. "Hey Hannah. That wasn't the only thing I wanted to tell you", I said turning my head to the side and looking at her. Lord she was beautiful. She turned and looked at me too, "what is it Johnny?"
"Umm well umm" -I started to stutter- "I like......you Hannah", I awkwardly said while still looking at her. She looked at me. Her cheeks were red and she just smiled. She scooted closer to me and laid her head on my chest. I put my arm around her.
"Your heart is beating fast", she said still with her head on my chest. "Mine is too", she grabbed my other hand and placed it on her chest. Golly, her heart sure was beating fast.
"Um Hannah. Do you want to go to the drive in's with me tomorrow night?" I asked nervously.
"Yeah, that would be nice."
We got up and started walking back to the Curtis' she got cold so I gave her my jean jacket. We were just talking about child hood stuff and my parents and how they abuse me. And then she started talking about how her mom passed away a while ago.
When we got back everyone was still in the spots they were in before we left.
"Hannah we should get going it's getting late", Cherry said standing up from being next to Dally. Cherry and Hannah started saying goodbye to everyone and hugging them. Hannah came up to me and gave me a hug. Hannah gave everyone a hug besides Dally and Pony. Hannah turned around and walked over to Ponyboy and gave him a hug and then that's when it happened. They kissed each other. I knew it was pretend since Hannah told me it was. Everyone looked shocked...besides Dally, he just looked pissed. Cherry looked a little uncomfortable. I think this whole plan they have is working. Hannah walked over to Dally and gave him a little hug and then out the door went Cherry and Hannah.
