First Female {The Maze Runner/Newt FanFiction}

Chapter 5

Forrest's POV,

-Nightmare-

I walk around the glade trying to find Newt. I had to tell him something really important. I hear the gates closing slowly but I didn't care. Another boy is near me called Jarred.

"Hey Jarred! Do you know where Newt is? I need to talk to him" I ask looking around.

"No and you never will!" He said then violently pushing me into the maze. I look through a gap that slowly closes to show that Newt, Alby and Gally were running to my rescue.

"FORREST NO!" I hear Newt scream and beating the door but then *thub* the doors of the maze close completely. I start to walk slowly to see if any grieves were out yet. I turn my head to see one right on my ass! I start running but it somehow stings me where I was stung before! Before my eyes close completely I hear a woman screaming WAKE UP! .

-Walks Up-

I walk up breathing for air. Oh my god! What is with these dream lately?! I start to get an unusual feeling of where I am. I'm in a room that's all white and the bathrooms look a future type thing or something. The only thing that was in the room was the Bathroom things. A bed that I was in already and a plain wardrobe. I then hear a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yell at the door but in a nice way. A beautiful woman walks into the room, she had dark brown hair and amazing brown eyes. she was wearing a white lab coat but everything else was just black or white. In her hand was what it looked liked a tray with breakfast on it. She looked about 34.

"Hello Forrest! I don't know if you remember me but I'm Mary. I used to take care of you before you entered the maze" Mary explained to me. On the tray was just a simple raisin bread with some apple juice.

"What?" I said confused. I have never seen this woman in my shucking life!

"Last time I saw you was about six months later when you screamed 'enough is enough!' When another person from your group went to the maze" Mary started off. I gave her a started look to go on.

"You were so sweet and innocent. Thats until you started loosing all your friends slowly. Then when someone special to your heart left you, you completely changed" She went on. I gave her a startled look as well.

"I was never sweet and innocent" I denied. She gave me a look saying 'yes you were'.

"You cloths are washed and over there near the door." She explained. She pointed over to a rack that was hanging my cloths up. they were the same cloths that I wore in the Glade. Mary hands me a little device of some sort that was hiding in her pocket. It looked like a phone. Mary hands it to me.

"If you want to watch your friends in the maze at anytime. Just watch here. Alright I'll be off, if you need me for anything, I'll just be in the testing room with a few more people." she explained before exiting the room.

"Mary!" I exclaim before she exits

"Yes dear?" she ask so sweetly. I like her already.

"Where am I?" I ask a little scared

"Well finish your breakfast first then get dress and I'll show you around." She instructed me.

-10 minutes later-

I finish my breakfast in 7 minutes and then get change in the bathroom for 3 minutes. The raisin bread was delicious! I walk out of the bathroom things and put the old cloths I was in on the bed. Maria picks then up.

"I have to wash them. Come on!" She sad enthusiastically.

-2 hours later-

"And this is out main room where the children are tested and we gather all the information about how their brain works and everything like that" She explained about finishing the tour. I look over to a long corridor and at the end of the hall was a double door.

"Where does that door lead to?" I ask pointing.

"That door leads to the outside of this place. In other words, Earth." A woman behind me answered me. she looked about 60 or something. she was wearing all white. She looked a whole lot familiar.

"Forrest this is Ava Paige. She is the Head Chancellor of WICKED." She introduced her to me. I shake Ava's hand.

"So... why are the doors closed?" I ask out of curiosity.

"The world but not as you remember it. You see, our world has been scorched by the suns light burning everything. With our world being this we discovered a new virus. We call it the Flare. Basically it affects the brain making you loose control over your body. It's highly contagious and we thought there wasn't a .cure... until now. You were infected with the virus but we have cured you. You were like a test dummy. Well we better get going and continue our work. You may explore WICKED but what ever you do remember two things. One, do never ever enter the room that says 'Group A Maze' and two, WICKED is good." She explained everything that has happened when I was in the maze. Also when somebody says I can't do something, I just have to do it!

"If you need me, I'll be at computer 23" Mary told me then walked to her computer. the two female leave me alone just stand there so I decide to walk around for abit. I walk over to the children that were in the middle of the room. This place kinda look familiar? Like I've been here before. I shake the thought our of my mind and went back to my room. I pulled out my device that Mary gave me. I turned it on and she was right! I saw everything like I was in the glade. They were doing there job like every other day, Minho was running the maze with Thomas for the first time, it was like every other normal day! It's just that I'm not there.
