Chapter Two

{another update tonight bc why not}

Nash's POV
"Nash, breakfast. Come eat before your late!" My dad shouts.

"I'll be there in a sec!" I shout back.

"I'll be in the car!" He says.

I grab my backpack and lacrosse bag and head downstairs.

"Morning." I say walking into the kitchen.

"Your like a girl getting ready, you take forever." Hayes says.

I just smack him in the back of the head.

"Boys!" Mom shouts.

"He started it." I say.

"You enabled it!" Hayes says.

"I don't care, your fathers waiting in the car. Now go, have a good day at school." She says.

Hayes and I both groan and walk outside.

"Do you ever think it's embarrassing that our dads the principal of the high school?" Hayes asks.

I just shrug. "Sometimes." I respond then get in the car.

Once were both in dad starts driving.

"So Nash you have a lacrosse game today after school and Hayes you have those football clinics. Then Will is coming home for the weekend." My dad says.

We both just nod and the car stays silent.

Once we get to school I quickly get out of the car and see some of my friends, Cameron and Matthew.

"Sup guys?" I say bro hugging them

"Yo Nash! You ready for this game?" Cam asks

"I'm always ready. What about you guys?" I say.

"When am I never ready?" Matt asks.

"Yeah really." Cameron laughs.

We stay and talk for a little longer until the bell rings for class then we all walk inside and go our separate ways.

Time Skip to End of Day

After my last class I went to the locker room and changed into my uniform for the game, then walked out to the field with my team.

This was supposed to be one of the hardest games this season, and so far this season we were undefeated and we were hoping to keep it that way.

I looked in the crowd to find my dad, but he wasn't there. He's always at every one of my games. That's weird.

After Game
We won our game 5-3. I scored 2 of our points. After the game I went and found my dad.

"There he is. Great game Nash!" My dad says.

"Yeah I guess I did alright." I say shrugging.

"Cmon lets get home, your mom has dinner made." He says and we get into the car.

He starts driving and the only sound in the car is the radio playing quietly.

"So dad where did you go during the game? You like disappeared." I say.

"Oh I got a phone call I had to go take." He says. I just nod assuming it was a dumb work call or whatever.

Once we get home we walk inside and I'm hit with the smell of food.

We all sit at the table and eat.

"So you guys I have some news." My dad says

"Moms pregnant?!" Hayes shouts.
