Chapter Thirteen

{little bit of a shorter chapter. happy Friday.}

Hayes' POV (woah plot twist)

It's finally four thirty and football is finally over. As much as I love the sport training for 10 hours on a Saturday isn't my favorite thing.

"Hey I'll see ya tomorrow man, I gotta bolt. I have a date with Maggie tonight." Carter smirks

"Date or hook up?" I joke

"I could ask you and Jordyn the same thing." He jokes back

"Whatever, get out of here. You know how girls are when you're late." I say rolling my eyes

"Ugh tell me about it!" He groans then leaves the locker room.

I finished changing out of my gear and packed my equipment up. I was walking out to Nash's car that I borrowed when I saw Adam, Charlie's boyfriend.

He was leaning up against the building talking to some girl, I don't know who she is though. Then I saw him lean in and they kissed like full on.

So me being me decided to walk over.

"Hey Adam." I say loudly and he quickly pulls away from kissing the girl

"Where's Charlotte?" I ask

"Who?" The girl asks

"You know, his girlfriend, Charlie!" I say

"Babe you said you were going to break up with her. I didn't fly all the way from Seattle just to sit around a hotel room alone." She says

"Let me handle this Anna."'Adam says

"So you're Anna?" I ask

"You know her?" Adam asks

"I've heard of her." I shrug

"Look Hayes you can't tell Char that Annas here." Adam says

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't. And while you're at it, give me a good reason why I shouldn't kick your ass right now." I threaten

"Well if you tell her she won't believe you." Adam says. "And if you beat me up, you'll just get in trouble and kicked out of camp." He says

"You're lucky, but next time you're dead." I say pointing then throwing my bag in the car and speeding off home.

Once I get home I throw my bag on the floor by the door.

"I'm home!" I shout slamming the door and rushing upstairs into Charlie's room.

"We need to talk." I say closing the door behind me.

"Why what's wrong? Did Adam get hurt, is he okay?" She asks worried

"He's fine, for now. Until I beat him so hard he can't walk!" I say angry

"Why what happened?" she asks

"Sit down." I say walking her over to her bed and pushing her down so she sits

"Just tell me what's going on." She says

"Annas here! And she was making out with Adam after football, and he's cheating on you." I say slowly not sure how she's going to react.

I knew Adam was cheating on her and I would always make fun of her for it. But now that I know it's true I actually feel bad for her. That's my twin sister, nobody can hurt her like this.

"You're insane." She says

"You don't believe me?" I ask

"No why would I?" She asks
