Chapter Nine

Charlie's POV

*~skip to friday~*

I was sitting in lunch with Jenn, Andrea, and Lia.

I did not want to be at school today. My head hurt and I just wanted to go home.

I looked down at my phone to see I got a text from Nash.

(N- Nash C- Charlie)
N- don't forget I'm driving you and Hayes home today since dad and Nila are leaving for Florida.

C- alright. I'll meet you after lax.

N- cool, don't be late.

C- never.

After that the bell rang and I was off to stupid class.

*skipping rest of day and lacrosse practice bc I'm lazy*

After practice was finally over it was 5 o'clock.

I went over to the bleachers and grabbed my school bag and my lacrosse bag.

I walked into the parking lot to see Jenn and Nash making out at his car.

I won't walk over there yet.

I decided to go to the football field to look for Hayes, he was with Jordyn. Greattttt.

"Grier what are you doin at football? I hear someone say so I turn around.

"Go away Sam." I groan.

"C'mon babe. it's fun to bug you." He smiles.

"Well I don't think it's fun. I think it's annoying and you need to stop, because I'd never date you." I say.

"Yeah you know that's what they all say, they always end up dating me anyways." He says stepping closer to me, closing the space in between us.

"Well I'd never date you." I say.

"Oh yeah? And why's that?" He asks.

"What's goin on over here?" Someone says.

I turn to see Hayes. Thank god.

"I was just leaving." I say and start walking away from Hayes and sam, but I can still hear their conversation.

"Dude you said she was into me." I hear sam say.

"She is, i swear. She just-"

"Yeah whatever. Look you have two weeks or get me my money, we had a deal." Sam says.

"Yeah I know. I'll work on it." He says.

"You better." Sam says.

"Finally! Where were you?!" Nash asks when I walk up to his car.

"Well I was coming out here, but you and Jenn were a little busy. So I went to get Hayes, but he was with Jordyn." I say.

"So where'd you go?" He asks.

I just shake my head and he drops the subject.

I throw my stuff in the back of his car and sit in the front seat while Nash sits in the drivers seat.

Soon enough Hayes walks up and gets in the car.

"So what's going on between you and Sam?" Hayes asks.

"Nothing. Carter said he just wanted to fuck me then dump me, just like every other girl. So I told him to leave me alone and that he was annoying. Nothing really." I respond.

"Well you need to deal with it and stop being a bitch to my friends. Okay?" He says.

"Hayes quit being a douche bag." Nash says.
