Charlie's POV

I wake up to my alarm clock going off. That's right, an alarm clock. Because I can't set an alarm on my phone, because I'm grounded.

Great, it's Monday. That mean school, which mean I have to take a history test. Awesome.

I lazily get out of bed and throw on my school uniform. Man I miss public school where I could wear sweats everyday. Now I have to wear a polo and a skirt everyday. I'm still not used to it.

I go downstairs to see everyone in the kitchen, like every morning.

"Morning sweetie." Nila greets as I take a seat at the counter, next to Nash.

"Morning." I yawn.

"Tired?" Nash asks with a small laugh.

"Little bit, I was up late stressing about my history test." I roll my eyes.

"You'll do fine. You've been studying all weekend." Nash says.

"You three better grab your stuff and get going before you're late." Nila says to Nash, Hayes and I.

The three of us get up to go upstairs and grab our things. The boys successfully leave the kitchen and go upstairs, but dad stops me before I can leave.

"Charlie you are having a meeting after school today." My dad says speaking up.

"A meeting? What kind of meeting?" I ask confused.

"It's about school, your grades more specifically." He says. "So meet in my office after school." He says.

"I can't, I have lacrosse practice." I say.

"Well this meeting is important, so you'll just have to be late lacrosse." He says.

"No, I can't. I made a commitment, I can't keep missing practice. I miss enough for stupid tutoring." I say.

"Charlotte you are coming to that meeting, if it is finished early enough then you can go to the remainder of lacrosse." He says sternly.

"Who's going to be at this 'meeting'? Just me and you? Because if that's the case then-"

"It will be me, you, the head of admissions, and maybe one other person will be there. So you have to come." He says interrupting me.

"Whatever." I roll my eyes. This is so annoying.

Why would he schedule a 'meeting' without telling me??

I leave the kitchen and go upstairs I hear Nash and Hayes fighting. From what I can hear it sounds like Hayes hid Nash's lacrosse stick.

"C'mon dude I need it! I have practice today!" I hear Nash say.

"No way. Not until you swear that you won't tell mom and dad about-" Hayes says. I don't hear the rest of the sentence because I go into my room.

I grab my backpack and lacrosse bag. I leave my room and go down the hallway to the boys' room.

"Would you two knock it off, we're going o be late." I say.

"He hid my lacrosse stick!" Nash says.

"He's threatening to tell mom and dad about the library situation." Hayes says.

"I really don't care about your petty little fights. I need to get to the library at school before class starts so I can study. So can we go?" I ask.
