ACT ONE; SCENE FOUR —
UNEXPECTED HAPPENINGS

"PETER, PETER WAKE UP!" wasn't exactly the most pleasant sound to wake up to at eleven o'clock at night from a screaming girl trying to grasp her brothers attention — without knowing, Lucy's sudden shouting had woke not only her siblings up, but Dolores as well despite her being in a completely different room. "Peter wake up! It's there, it's really there!"

"Shh!" Peter hushed as he attempted to force his eyes open to face the girl, yet the light was far too bright for his liking practically blinding the poor boy.

Peter groaned turning on his side, "Lucy what are you talking about?"

"Narnia! It's all in the wardrobe like i told you!" Lucy's excitement seemed to have gotten the better of her considering she had zero ideas on the fact that she'd just woken up practically most of the house, it's a good job the Macready was too far back in the hallways too hear any of this commotion.

Dolores rubbed her eyes slightly as she placed her slippers on and dozed out of the room only to be met with Susan and Edmund along their way, both hers and Susan's face showing all sorts of worriment and confusion, "What's going on?" She asked yawning.

"I have no idea." Susan replied looking down at the boy in hopes that he knew something about this, however he just looked back up at her miserably, as always.

"Don't look at me! As if I know anything about this." he spat running his hands through the blackish locks of his hair.

It wasn't long before the trio had reached the room where all the nonsense was occurring, Lucy jumping over Peter, Peter attempting to push her off and three, awfully confused children standing by the doorframe.

Susan tied her dressing gown before scoffing, "You've been dreaming Lucy!"

"But I haven't! I saw Mr Tumnus again." she cried, pleading for some sort of understanding from the others, "And this time, Edmund went too!"

Dolores raised an eyebrow and looked towards the boy who she found was already staring back at her in the first place. He quickly turned his focus towards the youngest girl, "Well, were you there Edmund? I thought you said you had no part in this?"

Edmunds face dropped at the mention of his name, "You . . . you saw the faun?" Peter asked, now sitting up in his bed instead of laying. All eyes were now fixated on the boy as he twiddled his fingers with all the now grown attention before he shook his head.

Lucy smiled and stood up, off of Peter and onto the ground below her, "Well . . . he didn't actually go there with me." By now Dolores, Susan and Peter had reached the stage far beyond confusion, how can Edmund experience something yet he somehow wasn't even there according to Lucy?

"He . . . " Lucy furrowed her eyebrows and slowly turned her body until it was fully facing Edmund, as did everyone else, "What were you doing Edmund?"

The boy grew speechless having no idea what to say to the girls question — he looked around the room instead until his eyes met with Dolores, although her eyes seemed to be asking the exact question Lucy had asked prior to this, 'what was he doing?', "I was just playing along." he stated, in attempt to cover up the truth, but something told Dolores he was lying, she didn't particularly know what it was, but she had this feeling.
