After we cleaned up most of the mess, Clem told the group what we found out from Abel. We decided it would be smart to send a small group to find the boat Abel talked about.
Violet, Louis, and Sarah volunteered to come with Clem and I to find the boat while everyone else stayed behind to try and get the place cleaned up.
" Can I come? Me and Sam need to protect our Mom." AJ asked looking up at Clem.
I chuckled and shook my head. " It's okay, Goofball. I'll be okay." Clem smiled placing her hand on his shoulder.
" I know... But I want to be by your side until we're safe again." AJ explained with a sigh.
Clem looked up at me and I nodded. " You can come. But stay close, we don't need any accidents. " I said causing him to smile.
" No accidents, I promise." The 6 of us and Sam headed out of the gates to find The Delta. Clem took out her Map and looked down at it as we walked.
" Once we find the boat, the first thing we should do, is find a way to sneak on. That's our main priority." She said.
" You got it Boss. Don't forget, we should keep an eye out for raiders." Louis added with a smile.
Clem looked over at him and nodded. " Yeah, that too. Nice thinking." She smiled before looking back down at the map.
" I wonder if we'll see Minnie and Sophie..." Louis sighed causing Clem to tense up. I frowned noticing her sudden change in demeanor.
" They aren't on our side. We have to look at them as one of the raiders" She spoke as she gripped the map tighter.
" Minnie and Sophie are nothing like those monsters. Maybe they just need to be rescued... Just like Marlon." Violet chimed in shaking her head.
" Yeah? Wasn't Minerva your girlfriend before she was taken? I wonder what she would think if she knew you had your eyes on someone else, among other things." Sarah crossed her arms looking Violet up and down.
" That's none of your business." Violet glared at Sarah causing her to chuckle.
" It's involving my best friend. So I'm making it my business. You got a problem with that?" Sarah questioned stepping forward causing me to hold my arm out to block her.
" Okay, now girls. Calm down. We should focus on the task at hand, all personal problems can be handled later, once we get Marlon back." I said trying to defuse the situation.
" And Minnie and Sophie too." Violet added causing Sarah to glare at her. Clem closed the Map and put it away as she looked straight ahead.
" There's the boat. Let's focus on that." She said. I could hear the venom in her voice as she spoke. She was definitely mad.
AJ followed Clem and crouched down next to her taking out his binoculars. " See anything? " Clem asked as the rest of us joined them.
" The beach, uhm a boat and uh ... A wood street in the water. " AJ described.
" That's called a Pier. " She explained causing him to smile looking up at her.
" Pier." He repeated causing her to nod.
" Okay, let's spread out and focus on those areas. Keep your heads low." She instructed as she walked away.
Violet followed her causing Sarah to scoff. " Sarah. Just let it go." I tried to calm her but she brushed me off.
