The next few days, with little of Gojo assistance, you started to use a katana efficiently but for some reason it did not fit you, you were able to swish it and fight with it but it still felt foreign, you wanted a weapon that fit you. However, before long Gojo dumped another mission on you guys and you were on your way to a prison apparently for it. You spent the car ride chatting with Nobara, as predicted behind her sass and all she was a very nice girl in general. She even lent you a hair tie yesterday during hand to hand combat practice. Nobara told you about her old hometown and stuff and you shared your brief life story with her.
" Can you both like, shut up for a few minutes" Megumi growled. Before Nobara could retort back you answered back.
" Why don't you mind your business for once." You said angrily. Yuji looked alarmed at your tone so he tried to calm the tension between you Megumi
" Come on guys, be nice to each other" He tried being a peacekeeper but you and megumi just huffed. He really was getting on your nerves. Even during training he tried to insult your lousy moves and you insulted him back for his slow reaction times. Yuji tried to get you both to be friends but it was useless. Nobara on the other hand cheered on your creative insults and had your back.
Before long the car stopped in front of the correction facility. Something told you this was not gonna be good.
To say the mission went sideways would be an understatement. You and Megumi were currently running to where Nobara might be, leaving Yuji alone. You felt worried about leaving him behind with a special grade curse but megumi had full trust in him. Yuji hugged you telling to take care and you felt that maybe his plan would work.
With the help of Megumi's cute dogs, You both found Nobara and she was not happy with the rescue. She hated frogs, you told this to Megumi before but he didn't listen. After you carried her outside to the car you looked back thinking when yuji would turn up. But he didn't so you started getting an eerie feeling something was wrong. After sending Nobara in the car you walked up to megumi, feeling angry that he went along with your brother's plan.
" I told you this was stupid, why did you leave him alone?" you said angrily. You were impatiently tapping your foot. Yuji should be here right now. But he wasn't. And something told you this was not going to end well.
" You should show a little trust in him," Megumi said. his eyes narrowing, but you could see, he was also getting impatient and nervous.
" I do trust him, this is not about trust, Yuji is a little careless and a hero type person, I'm worried something bad would happen and like Sukuna could control him" You said and just then you heard a crackle from behind you, as a really deep voice said
" Don't mention my name carelessly woman, I am a king after all." You and megumi whipped around, your hand reaching carefully to the kitana. And Megumi's hands tightened in fists.
