It turned out that the the tree was just part of a bigger problem. There was a dome like shield around the arena to keep only Gojo Sataro out. Yuji and Todo were busy fighting a special grade, Maki and Nobara, after beating Kyoto's ass, met up with you and the rest. Kamo was passed out and Inumaki was spewing blood, but the tree creature, Hanami, was not backing down and Megumi's stamina was faltering as well as yours.
Bloodied and bruised your fans were busy cutting the branches that were trying to attack you. Even with Nobara's and Maki combined power, it was no use, you observed that Hanami's eyes were the weakest. You aimed your fan and threw it with full force, that caught Hanami's attention.
" shit" you cursed at yourself as a tree branch seared through your chest and flowers bloomed in your chest. The pain was excruciating and consciousness was slipping now. You were sure you were going to die. But you didn't stop fighting against certain death,. You closed the fans which now turned to blades and threw them precisely at Hananmi's eyes. She screamed loudly and you took the advantage to get out. Megumi grabbed your limp and bloodied body before it could fall and you rest your eyes, the last thing you saw being Megumi's dark blue irises, concerned and his forehead bloody.
When you woke up, you instantly touched the place where you were sure a hole might be but instead there was a bandage.
" oh thank god, you are aliveeeee" Nobara exclaimed, hugging you tightly.
" you are choking me" you smiled but hugged her back. " what happened? Did we win?" you asked as the memories of the event started playing in your head.
" If you mean 'we'by humans, then yes. Gojo Sensei broke the barrier and flew in to save us" She explained her nose crinkling. " Yuji's word not mine" She said in sort of an explanation as your eyebrow raised at 'flew in''.
" Well he is the strongest and a special grade, i wouldn't be surprised. Anyway what about the rest?" You asked, remembering Inumaki throwing up blood and Megumi's bloodied head and Leaving your brother to a special grade again.
" they are fine, Miss Shoko fixed everyone up, even you. You are more worried about others than yourself." She asked looking concerned, you had always been focused about the well-being of others then yourself. It had become second nature now." I am not saying caring for others is bad, you are selfless, But i feel, Fushiguro's right, when he says that you should focus on yourself.'' She says fidgeting with her hoodie string.
" Fushiguro just likes to insult me for minute reasons, but you are right, Being a little selfish won't hurt." You smiled and Nobara smiled back.
" I think Fushiguro likes to pull out a reaction from you" She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
" Pfft, No, Kamo is way better than him" You muttered the last part to yourself mostly, but Nobara's sharp ears caught it.
" Woah, Spill the tea gurl." She said, shaking your arm looking excited. You were reluctant at first, but sharing such stuff with somebody other than your brother felt good, despite yuji being a good sounding board but there are just some things you couldn't share with your brother. So you filled her in. Her reactions were perfect, especially when she gasped and then squealed at the part when you told her the way he said sorry for the cut.
" I was busting my ass with a teenage witch and Maki's Senpai's evil twin, you were really getting it on" She pouted.
" its not like it means anything, he was just being friendly" You smiled, twirling your hair on your finger. Nobara took out her phone and opened camera at selfie mode, and handed to you.
" Look at yourself, now tell me, was he just being friendly?" She narrowed her eyes as you speculated yourself, your hair open and flowing down, nicely framing your face, your rosy cheeks and lush pink lips shining in the afternoon sun. If you were being honest, you could see what Nobara was suggesting.
" At least he is better than the stalker" You said to yourself, forgetting the fact that Nobara was here as well.
" Stalker?" She asked, pulling her mobile away and looking worried. You grabbed your mobile and showed her the texts that _UNKNOWN_ had been spamming with, each more desperate and worse then the last. Nobara's eyes widened as she skimmed through them
" My best guess is that this guy is from my old school, the boys in my class were real idiots and always trying to take me out for Karaoke. Thank god, yuji would step in if they get too pushy but this dude has been really getting on my nerves and with the recent events, especially yuji's death and the training, i didn't tell anyone" You explained.
"Y/n this is serious, We can ask Gojo sensei to help-""
" No, i don't need anyone else involved in this, especially our teacher, i can handle this myself."
" There you go again being all selfless, you don't have to be shy to ask for help. " Nobara argued.
" I am not shy, I just don't want to-" Before you could finish the door flew open, revealing your pink haired brother, looking gleeful.
" Perfect timing, Fushiguro's up as well."" He announced and you and Nobara exchanged a glance.
" At Least tell yuji about it, he is your brother, he may be stupid and careless but he cares enough for you to help you." She whispered as you got up from your bed. You nodded
