Your room was getting too claustrophobic for you that you had no choice but to get out of it, it felt too depressing to stay inside. So you took a shower clearing your thoughts. Thinking what yuji would say if he saw you moping around like this. You choked out a laugh. He is definitely not going to be happy. So you made up your mind to train to be the best and yuji's death shouldn't slow you down but used as a motivation. You made your way outside and saw Nobara and Megumi sitting on the stairs looking depressed. You realized that Yuji's death also had affected others as well. As Nobara ranted about yuji you noticed her lips wobbling. Damn Yuji you really left an impact.
Before you could comfort her you saw a panda, a boy with white hair and a zipped up jacket and a tall hot girl with green hair in a ponytail.
" Oi why you guys are so depressed?" She asked pointing he stick towards and then the panda scolded her for being too insensitive.
" Who are they?" Nobara and you asked at the same time.
" Second Years, The girl is Maki Zenin, she uses curse tools, that guy is Toge Inumaki, he has cursed speech and speaks in rice ball ingredients and that's panda" Megumi replies. You and Nobara exchanged a look and then Maki apologized for not knowing the situation and explained to you guys about the kyoto exchange event.
" Kyoto Exchange event?" You asked.
" Yeah it's with the sister jujutsu school in Kyoto and we beat those guys last year so they would be coming back harsher this time so we need you three to perform your best." She smiled. You three exchanged glances and shrugged, Training is a better option than moping around.
You and Nobara found out quickly that the second years were weird but great. Maki was strong and talented and she radiated good vibes. Yet she made you run around the race track until your legs give out .While Panda , inukami and Nobara were training, or just Panda throwing around Nobara you relaxed a little, Even Though you saw Your brother died three days ago you still felt as if he was alive, call it twin telepathy but you couldn't shake of this weird feeling as you finally collapsed on the stands where nearby Maki was telling Megumi something. You closed your eyes and after a minute somebody tapped a cold drink to your face. You looked up and saw Maki drinking from her can and she sat down beside you.
" I wanted to properly apologize for being insensitive, Fushiguro told me Yuji was your twin brother." She said quietly. I nodded my head
" It's okay, you really didn't know." I said quietly.
" I have a twin as well and although I hate her I never could bring myself to watch her die, so for real if you want any help I am here for you." She smiled and you felt yourself smiling to yourself. After some silence you decide to ask her.
" Can I ask for a favor, Maki senpai?" you said and she nodded. " You are a strong curse tool user. Can you help me as well?" At this she smiled.
" Of course girlie, I got your back." She thumped your back.
~TIMESKIP~
You never were into shopping and stuff but here you were with the second years, Megumi and Nobara in a shopping mall. The only reason you came was because Nobara dragged you here to get cute clothes as she was really devastated to find all your clothes were black and baggy.
" These are all hoodies and sweatpants!!" She had exclaimed when she helped you properly unpack and decorate your room.
You didn't mind though but she did. So you reluctantly agreed to come here. Maki only came because Nobara bribed her with extra training. Now you all were in a clothing shop with Nobara dragging you around looking at clothes.
" Y/n this tracksuit would look good on you" She showed you a crop top jacket and matching pajamas.
" It's too short!" You exclaimed looking at the crop top.
" That's the point, it makes you look sexy" Maki added in ,making you blush. You already admired her and hearing her encouraging words made you embarrassed.
" I usually wear long shirts and loose pants, this is not my style." You murmured
" That's why I am here, to educate you on your style." Nobara said and despite your protest she and maki spent their entire shopping spree buying you a whole new wardrobe.
" you really couldn't say no could you?" Megumi sneered, honestly you didn't realize how much of a switch he is, with others he is quiet and patient but with you he is so rude and annoying.
" I tried but it was no use" You said as you had zero energy to argue. Megumi looked at the clothes Nobara sorted out for you. He had seen many girls wearing such tight and cropped clothes but yet he couldn't stop wondering how you would look in them. Realizing his train of thought he quickly looked away, you are his dead friend's sister and an annoying person, nothing more. He mentally reminded himself
After you guys paid, from gojo's black card of course, you guys called the driver and went back not before treating yourselves with fried food. You had fun with the others and quite honestly it made you almost forget about Yuji as you were laughing with Maki at Nobara and Panda arguing on whether zebras are better or pandas. That was until you saw a girl wearing a hunger games shirt. All the laughing died in your throat as you remembered Yuji and you recreating the scenes together from the movie,Grandpa always scolding you both for being making a mess and reluctantly playing along as Haymitch.
" If you ever got in a deathly game like this i would also volunteer" You heard thirteen year old Yuji's determined voice in your subconscious. You needed air.
" i am going to the bathroom" You announced and almost ran towards the bathroom stall. Nobody seemed to care much except megumi, he would be lying if he said he wasn't worried when he saw the way your face fell so suddenly. He had to accept that you were still healing from the loss and it's not like he hadn't been there, he remembered when Tsumiki went into a coma. It was the worst feeling ever, to feel useless, to not be able to do anything.
