Take Two || Jikook

Chapter 6

Aww...just look at them 🤧. Anyways let's start the story.

Derek's house looked pretty simple from outside but there was a whole club atmosphere inside. With disco lights, DJs, a big hall converted to a dance floor and bar counter kept on the corner.

Jungkook, Eunwoo were having a drink while leaning on the counter. Kang-dae and Siwoo, two of their friends were also accompanying them. But unlike every other time, Jungkook didn't look much interested in the party.

"Hey handsome...", a pretty girl with hazel eyes walked near them, her eyes struck on Jungkook, eyeing him from head to toe, "Wanna have a dance?"

Jungkook glanced at her momentarily before replying, "Not interested. Find someone else."

She narrowed her eyes at him for getting rejected and went back with a huff.

"Woah, that was unexpected. Jungkook, I haven't ever seen you reject such offers.", Kang-dae said.

"Maybe, he has another company tonight.", Siwoo teased.

"Or it could be because of a certain someone.", Eunwoo stated casually which made Jungkook glare at him.

"Care to elaborate?", Jungkook narrowed his eyes.

"Well would you care to elaborate why were you ignoring my texts I sent you since an hour ago?", Eunwoo retorted back.

"I was studying with Jimin and my phone was silent, I only saw it after an hour.", he shrugged.

"That explains my previous statement.", Eunwoo shrugged back, "You don't ever keep your phone silent, much less for study purposes and you certainly don't look like you're in the mood for the party which happens rarely. I guess, Jimin's company was better than this party?", he smirked. Jungkook clenched his fist wanting to refuse, but deep down he knew that Eunwoo was right upto some extent. Blame it on his high IQ and intelligence.

"Who's Jimin?", Kang-dae asked.

"He's---"

"He's no one. Not significant to know. Eunwoo is just stating nonsense.", Jungkook cut him off and replied. For some reason, he didn't want his other so-called friends to know about Jimin. He didn't want them to bother him or get near him in any way.

"Both of you talk in secretive language most of the time.", Siwoo rolled his eyes, "Anyways, I'm gonna hit on that chick in the front.", he pointed at a girl with blonde hair in a red bodycon dress, "Wish me luck.", he winked before walking towards her.

"I'm also going for a dance.", Kang-dae also went aside.

After they both went Jungkook nudged Eunwoo, "I'm saying this on a serious note, don't mention Jimin's name in front of them or any other of our friends. You know how they are. I don't want them to judge him or pick on him. He's a nice person and I don't want him to get in trouble because of me.", he said seriously.

"Protective, I see.", Eunwoo chuckled before turning serious, "I understand. I would make sure to not mention his name in front of them again."

Jungkook nodded. Some moments later they were distracted by the hassle on the dance floor. When they went towards it to see what was happening, they saw a tall, muscular guy grabbing Siwoo by the collar while the latter struggled to get out of his grip terrified. They pushed through the crowd to get to him.

"What happened here?", Eunwoo questioned.

"Eunwoo, Jungkook, please help.", Kang-dae who was present on the scene went towards them, "Siwoo was trying to flirt with this girl but didn't know that she had a boyfriend already. She thought Siwoo was harassing him and hence turned to her boyfriend and now he's threatening to beat the hell out of Siwoo."
