today was just like any other day, the sun was shining perfectly, and i was out for a walk with my best friend, jj.

jj and i had decided to go for a walk since we were the only ones in the house and we needed something to do. we had decided looking for seashells and cool rocks would be entertaining enough for the moment.

right now, we're walking down a rocky, steep, path with tons of cool rocks and a lot of trees.

as we're making our way down the hill located inside the path, i catch a squirell from the corner of my eye, catching me off guard i step on a medium sized rock, my ankle rolling in ways it shouldnt.

i wince in pain as i hold back sobs. i fall down due to the loss of balance i once had, grabbing on to my blonde friend beside me to subside my fall.

"y/n!? are you okay?" jj immediately squats down to my side as my sobs find their way out of my y/e/c eyes.

"no, i think i broke something." i manage to speak as i sob uncontrollably on the earth floors.

"okay, does this hurt?" jj asks as he puts pressure in an area of my ankle.

"no, it feels numb." i say back.

"okay you definitely broke it. im gonna take you to the clinic." jj says as he picks me up bridal style and starts to walk down the hill i failed to complete.

after we got out of the clinic, me being told i mildly broke my ankle and that i should be better within 3 weeks, we headed back to the chateau where i was advised to rest.

once we got back, jj set me up on the couch, asking me an arangement of questions and brought me a bunch of things.

after he calmed down, he brought me over an ice pack to rest on my ankle as i was not given a cast due to the reason: it was a mild break, more like a sprain than a break.

as he was wrapping the ice pack in paper towels, he looked up and thats when we both had realized we were fairly close to each other.

we both stared in one anothers eyes immensely until we both looked down to each others pair of soft lips.

once we both realized we had the same thought, we started to both lean in closer until there was no more space between us.

as we're kissing i cant help but smile into it as ive been waiting for this moment my whole life.

once we pull apart for air, we rest our foreheads against one another as we stare into the others eyes.

"i like you alot, y/n." jj confesses.

"i like you too." i say as i lean in for another kiss.

the thing is, i dont just 'like' him, i love him.
