You Light Up the Sky Like Lightning 90 *Epilogue*
*Nine Years Later*
*Landry's POV*
"Noah, no running in the house!" I yelled.
"But mom, dad is chasing me! He's really mad this time!" my oldest son yelled from the next room over.
"Well, maybe if you hadn't woken him from his nap, we would all be safe from his wrath."
"Excuse me?" I heard a disbelieving voice call. I knew right away that his pursuit of Noah was soon forgotten. Seconds passed and that same voice was directly next to me, whispering in my ear. "What wrath would you be talking about, Mrs. Bieber?"
I had to hold myself back from smiling. "The same one you tend to use on me in the bedroom. Hence all the kids. I swear, I can't keep you off of me."
Justin growled with a sky smirk. "Well, we can go-"
"No, Justin," I laughed. "Baby in the arms, here."
Justin glared playfully at me before bending down and scooping our youngest daughter Alana into his arms.
"There's daddy's princess!" he cheered gleefully. He lifted her shirt and blew a raspberry on her stomach. She giggled and squirmed, trying to get away from the source that was tickling her.
Justin and I have been married for eight years now. We got married after our first son, Noah, was born. Noah is nine now, and big into football. He and Justin would watch every game they could together. He did, however, get Justin's personality, which is why I think Justin secretly worships the ground Noah walks on. They were the same in every way possible.
Three years after Noah, we had our second boy who we named Josh. He is six, and a total mommy's boy. He loved me more than life itself. Josh would help me as much as his little six year old body could, and he rarely would get into trouble.
Another two years later we had Alex. Alex adored his older brothers, but tended to get into more trouble than Josh. He took after Noah more so than Alex, which was a little depressing because they were going to grow up to be heartbreakers. I laughed at that thought.
And then finally, two years after Alex, our only girl, Alana, was born. She was a complete daddy's girl. She was only a year old, and she already had my husband wrapped around her tiny finger. And it didn't help that Justin spoiled her rotten.
As I watched my husband play with our daughter, I wondered how I got so lucky. I had the most amazing family now, the most amazing house, and the most amazing friends. Justin continued his singing career, but put in a studio in the house so he didn't have to leave to record something new. Currently, he had the number one album on iTunes called 'Roads.' When I could, I was a dance instructor at a studio I owned just down the street. I couldn't help but be thankful for the way my life had turned out.
"Lay-baby, what are you thinking?" Justin asked me, wrapping his arms around my waist and pressing a small kiss to my lips. He must have put Alana down in her chair because he wasn't holding her anymore.
"Just life in general," I said, placing my arms around his neck and kissing him softly again.
"What about it?"
I shrugged. "I just don't know how I got so lucky."
"No, that would be me. I am have the most amazing children in the world. The most amazing fans in the world. And the most beautiful, amazing wife anyone could ever ask for," he said.
I smiled. "I love you."
"I love you too."
"You should go finish your nap," I said.
Justin laughed. "Only if you come with me."
"No way," I chuckled. "And leave these four maniacs alone? Do you want the house to burn down?"
Justin laughed again before pressing his lips to my forehead. "You're an amazing mother, Landry. More amazing than anyone ever could be."
"Thank you, Justin," I whispered. "You have no idea how much that means."
"I know, baby," he said.
I stood there in his arms for a few minutes just enjoying the feel of him around me. I felt so safe and protected. Nothing could hurt me when I was with him. I knew that my kids and I were always going to be protected because of him. He did everything he could for all of us. He really was the worlds greatest dad.
"Justin?"
"Hmm?" he murmured.
"So, how about that nap?"
