*Landry's POV*

Pattie, Carin, Skylar, and I all arrived back at Carin's house around five-thirty. Pattie parked out front, and we all loaded our arms with the shopping bags from our day out.

Pattie and Carin walked ahead of Skylar and me.

"That's Justin's car," I said, motioning towards the black Range Rover parked in the driveway.

"Maybe Scooter had more shit for Justin to do," Skylar suggested.

I shrugged. Even if Scooter had something for Justin to do, I doubt he would do it. Justin hates Scooter at the moment.

We walked inside, and Carin and Pattie disappeared into the kitchen.

"Justin?" I called out, wondering if he really was here.

Instead of Justin answering, Ryan and Chaz came walking down the stairs.

"Hey," I said. "Where's Justin?"

They shared a look. Not a good look, either.

"Let's just say he's arguing with your psycho parents," Chaz mumbled, walking over to Skylar. He gave her a hug and took her bags from her. Odd. That was very gentlemanly. Not like Chaz at all.

"Wait, he's arguing with my parents?" I said, just now catching what he said.

He nodded. I glanced at Ryan, who had an, 'I'm sorry,' look on his face.

I dropped my shopping bags and darted up the stairs as fast as I could go.

When you reach the top of the stairs, there's a loft area, with a couple couches, a ping-pong table, and a tv. Beyond that is what made me freeze.

Big, packing boxes were lined up outside of my room.

"Justin?" I called out again. I slowly started to walk towards my room, and stopped outside the doorway, listening to what was being said inside.

"She's seventeen!" That was my dad. "She is not legally an adult yet. Her mother and I are her parents, and she does what we say since she's not eighteen yet. End of story."

"But, if you would just hear me out-" Justin started, but never finished.

"No. She is coming with us, no if's, and's, or but's," my dad said harshly.

And then it clicked to what he was saying: they wanted to take me back to New York, away from Justin.

And to make matters worse, my dad added, "Landry, her mother, and I will leave early tomorrow morning. She will be staying here tonight, and you will return to your house. But she is getting on that plane tomorrow."

"What?!" I yelled, storming into the room, startling both of them.

"Landry, please go back downst-" my dad started.

"No! Hell no!" I yelled. "You can not just come back into my life out of nowhere, and expect me to do every single little piece of shit you say, because it won't happen!"

"You're coming with us, and that's final!" my dad yelled at me.

"No, I'm not!" I screamed. "You can't make me!"

"Yes, actually I can," he said. "You're under eighteen! That means you are not legally an adult yet, and you don't have adult privileges! Getting married, having a child, moving in together - I will not allow it!"

I pursed my lips. "Right, because you can totally control what is happening in my stomach right now," I said sarcastically. It didn't make my dad very happy. It made him even angrier.
