Schlag explained what transpired after the girls fell and Jaune how he found a tree that brought him back in time to an unknown date as they all went through the waterlilly's flower, which teleported them outside, near a flower field.

Ruby, sitting down on a nearby rock: She's... got two relics now?

Yang, sitting besides her: And with Cinder, the ability to get another.

Blake: She doesn't know where the Beacon relic is.

Schlag: And Winter has the Winter Maiden.

Which is NOT confusing at all.

Weiss: Well there's that to be thankful for at least.

Jaune looked at the storm clouds in the distance, then back at Team RWBY sulking and sighted.

Ruby: We lost Atlas and the Relic...

Blake: But we got everyone out safely, Jaune said so.

Weiss: We risked their home to save the relic. And we failed.

Blake: Getting everyone out HAS to count for something.

Ruby: What good is saving anybody if Salem just destroys the world anyways!

Yang: That's how Ironwood thought. You don't mean that...

Jaune, in a very harsh tone: Are you done?

The thunder's sound could be heard in the distance.

Jaune: We need to move before the weather turns or it's gonna take us a lot longer to get to safety.

Well time certainly took a lot of the shit he had to give.

Everyone seemed a bit shocked by Jaune's tone and he breathed in heavily to calm himself.

Jaune: There'll be plenty of time to lick your wounds later. Come on.

They all followed him as he at least seemed to know where he was heading, which was an improvement from the cat's way to guide.

Yang: So... Where are we going again?

Jaune: My village. I still can't believe you made all the way from the Crimson Keep on your own.

Blake: Not on our own. We had help.

She suddenly looks around remembering their old guide.

Blake: I hope the cat is okay...

If it jumped into battle like that, it must have had a way to fight. And pretty well at that...

Jaune, suddenly stopping and back with the harsh tone: What cat?

Little, just waking up again and looking back: That cat!

He pointed toward the approaching Curious Cat, which was again cut in half for some reason. It ran up to the group and sighed in relief

Cat: Oh! I found you. Why is it that you always find the thing you look for in the very last place you look?

Because the place you find is by definition the last place you look?

Cat: *gasp* Jaune! Oh my! It has been an indeterminate amount of time hasn't it? So... How have you been?

Jaune still doesn't turn around.

Weiss: Wait. You two know each other?

Schlag: They'd have to...

Ruby: From the story.

In an instant, Jaune turned around and unsheathed his blade while grunting. Blake and Yang quickly stopped by grabbing his arms before he could take more than a step.
