After a bit of time, the airship with you, Maria and Oscar aboard fly up to the left, team JN_R run to the left, and Ruby is sent flying in the air with her Semblance, when she deactivate it, Qrow go as a bird, and she fire a round at Cordovin's mecha, making a crack on the mecha's window
Mecha-Cordovin sends a bunch of missiles to her in retaliation, and Ruby use her Semblance and agility to run on them, and then dive into the sea, to land on a newly formed ice ramp
She's followed by Weiss and they approach it with Weiss making ice platforms on the water
Nora fires two grenades at the robot, and Jaune yell at it to get its attention. They hide behind rocks and Nora fires two other grenades at it, but this time the mecha activates its shield powered by hard-light dust
Mecha-Cordovin: *laugh* Surely you knew Atlas was the father of hard-light dust? Or do lesser kingdoms simply lack proper education?
She fires some rounds with her cannon
Jaune: Cordo just activated shields!
Oscar: Saw that. We need to find whatever's generating it
y/n: Considering it's using hard-light dust, and need to be nearly always active, it should create heat, and thus need be ventilated, search for anything that look like a vent!
Ruby: You know, in video games, the weak spot's usually on the back of the giant boss
Bruh, do you even game?
Anyway, this remind me of Wolfenstein 3D for some reason, maybe it's the mecha?
Weiss: Ruby, this isn't a game!
Ruby: I'm just trying to-- Look out!
The mecha attacks the girls
Mecha-Cordovin: You are ants! You are lower than ants!
Qrow re-take his human form in the air, and plant his scythe through the robot's armor
Mecha-Cordovin: What was that?!
He unblocks his scythe
"Until the shield's down, we're gonna have to get up close and personal with this thing"
He fires at close range a bit, but Mecha-Cordovin tries to grab him with its hand
He shapshifts and dodges
Ren: That's easier said than done!
Ruby: Weiss and I are on it
Weiss makes some ice spikes, and that breaks the robot's balance a bit
You pass behind the robot
Oscar: Wait, that's it, when she...
Mecha-Cordovin aims at Ruby with its cannon arm
