The morning wasn't here yet, but Schlag was already awake. Yang's snoring was responsible for this fact, as one would imagine.
Since she didn't find how Jaune made them something to drink yesterday and didn't want to wake anyone up, she had stepped out to take some time for herself, and take a better look at the place Jaune had brought them to.
While she wondered why someone would build a village just next to a dam, she saw a torch rise from the village and go into an enormous paper lamp, suddenly bringing a fake sun to life.
Well I guess it's morning now...
However, she did not have any time to wonder about it anymore since a surprisingly big ball of flame fell from the paper sun, right into one of the village's houses. It crashed into it in a big explosion and set fire to its roof.
Schlag: My lord! I have to wake the others!
She ran towards the door but before she could touch it, it opened and slammed right into her nose, making her aura flicker and sending her to the ground.
Jaune came out and ran toward his stead he, in an admittedly weird fashion, called Juniper.
Jaune: I'm late!
Schlag took some time to pick herself up as the others got out too, carrying their weapons.
Weiss: What was that?!
Jaune, not looking at Weiss at all: I overslept... I NEVER oversleep. Yesterday... ugh! All the excitement... Keep it together. You can fix it. You always fix it.
He hopped on Juniper and passed by team RWBY.
Blake: Jaune!
He stopped for a second and looked back
Jaune: I can't wait, I'm late! Any second there's going to be another–
*Explosion sound*
Jaune: Dammit! Right on time. Get to town, I'll meet you there!
And he leaves, charging downhill.
Little, just waking up: I'm never this upset when I oversleep...
Yang: What did he mean by "right on time"?
Blake: M sure we'll find out when we get down there.
She turned to see Ruby, standing behind with nothing in her hands.
Blake: Ruby, where's your weapon?
Ruby: Oh! Sorry. Uh... Still waking up!
Weiss, who can't believe her teammate again: Uh-Hurry! People are counting on us!
Ruby runs back inside to fetch Crescent Rose.
That's unlike Ruby to forget her weapon? Isn't she rather the type to sleep with it?
The group then ran towards the village upon arriving, Schlag confirmed what she saw from afar. The whole place was entirely made of origami. The houses, the flowers, trees... almost everything. Yet somehow at the center of it was a pound, with real water and fish in it.
Yang: Who makes a town out of paper!?
???: Hello!
The whole group turned to see a third-human size star shaped origami waving one of its branches to Yang. Apparently the inhabitants were also made of paper.
???: Welcome to our village! We hope that it pleases you. Would you be so kind as to tell us what you are so that we may serve you?
Ruby: Serve us?!
