Kat had always envisioned a life filled with love and adventure. She had found herself with  a kind and cautious soul who shared her dreams. Together, they had built a beautiful life, filled with laughter and the promise of a bright future.

One sunny morning, Kat woke up feeling a bit different. She brushed it off as a passing mood but decided to take a pregnancy test, just in case. As she watched the test develop, her heart raced with anticipation, and she couldn't believe her eyes when two pink lines appeared.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Kat stared at the test, her hands trembling. It was the moment that would change their lives forever. She was going to be a mother.

That evening, as the sun set and painted the sky in shades of orange and pink, Kat decided to surprise Luke. She had set up a romantic dinner on their rooftop, complete with their favorite dishes and a stunning view of the city.

Luke arrived home, greeted by the flickering candles and the aroma of their favorite meal. Kat smiled nervously, her heart pounding as she tried to find the right words. Finally, she took Luke's hand and led him to the rooftop.

As they sat down to eat, Kat couldn't keep her secret any longer. She looked into Luke's eyes and said, "There's something I want to share with you."

Luke, noticing the serious tone in her voice, nodded and urged her to continue.

With a mix of excitement and trepidation, Kat placed a small pair of baby booties on the table.

Luke's eyes widened in surprise as he realized the significance of the tiny shoes.

Kat took a deep breath and said, "Luke, we're going to be parents. I'm pregnant."

Luke's initial shock gave way to a wide, beaming smile. He pulled Kat into a tight embrace, and they both laughed as Kat found tears running down her face.

"Now, we need to figure out what account we want to open for the baby."

He opens his phone and beginnings sprouting out ideas about the importance of a will, and some different plans about some financial junk that Kat didn't care about.

She stared at the pregnancy test, rubbing her fingers on the pink lines. Part of her hoped it wasn't real, that she wasn't pregnant with a man like Luke.

All she could think about was where Reid was, and if he too was having dinner with someone that couldn't replace her void.
