ACT 2

Scene 7 

Virgil and Logan were in Virgil's yard playing croquet when Emile walks in, carrying a clipbored. "Hey guys, missed you after eighth period." Virgil rolls his eyes "We were avoiding you." Emile gasped in shock "What you did to me sucked." Logan said glaring at Emile. "How very very. I need you both to sign this." She shoves the clipboard into Logan's hand. Logan and Virgil hesitate but Emile insists so Logan sighs and signs as Virgil asked "What is that?"  Emile turned him "It's a petition to have the governor declare a day of remembrance to honor the victims of suicide. I've gotten everyone to sign it,  even the dweebs and losers."  Virgil quickly says no so Emile continued "Virgil, why are you pulling my dick? It was your boyfriend's idea. He made up the signature sheet and everything." This made Virgil very concered he quickly tried to stop whatever this is "Look, I don't know what Janus is up to, but if you know what's good for you, please just… throw that away." Emile quickly takes the clip bored back "Not a chance. I'll just fake your signature like I did with Patton Dumptruck. he's in no shape to sign anything today." This comfused Virgil so he quickly asked "Why not?" Emile laufha "It was on the radio. he took a belly flop off the Old Mill Bridge last night holding a suicide note." Roman C, Kemy, and Renus enter as Virgil yells "Oh my God, is she dead?" Emile just rolled his eyes "Just some broken bones. Just another geek trying to imitate the popular people and failing miserably." Emile and Logan then walk off.

Virgil slowly backs away from the dead teens, teears in his eyes. He mumbled "Patton, I'm so sorry" before running off into the house with the dead teens following.

Virgil runs into his mum and dad who have been waiting for him. "Where have you been?" His dad demanded. "We've been worried sick! Your friend JD stopped by. He told us everything" His mum said as she hugged him. Virgil pulled away confused "...'Everything'?" Virgil's dad stepped forward "Your depression? Your thoughts of suicide?" Only for his mum to continue "He even showed us your copy of Moby Dick". Ghost roman smirks while looking at the writing on the book "He's got your handwriting down cold". Virgil quickly taked the book of hos parents. Virgil's mum starts begging "Please, honey. Talk to us!" Virgil shakes his head "no you wouldn't understand" but his mum kept insiting "Try me! I've experienced everything you're going through right now" Roman turned to Virgil and went "Guess who's right down the block?"  His mum carried on "Your problems seem like life and death." Even though Roman kept interputing her (his mum can't see him of course) "Guess who's climbing the stairs?" Virgil's mum takes his hands "I promise, they're not" roman smirks "Guess who's picking your lock?". Virgil yanks his hands away and yells "You don't know what my world looks like!" Before running off upstairs to his room. 

"Time's up! Go say your prayers!

Virgil's running on, running on fumes now
Virgil's totally fried
Virgil's gotta be trippin' on 'schrooms now
Thinking that he can hide
Virgil's done for, there's no doubt now
Notify next of kin!
Virgil's trying to keep him out now

He got in!" 

Virgil hides in his closet. Janus suddenly appears at Virgil's window "Knock! Knock! Sorry for coming in through the window Dreadful etiquette, I know!" As he climbs in, Virgil yells "Get out of my house!". Janus pulls out one of his guns and looks over to the closet "Hiding in the closet? Come on! Open the door.". Virgil yelled out "No, I'll scream, my parents will call the police.".  Janus sighs, puts the gun back in his trousees and holds up the petition "All is forgiven, baby. Come on out and get dressed! You're my date to the pep rally tonight! Your classmates thought they were signing a petition. You gotta come out here and see what they really signed!"
