winter episode 2

i find a faint print he left behind it almost looks like green fog slowly disinagrating. theres something not quite rigt about it besides the fact that hes completely evil its like theres some type of small magic
mixed with it i cant tell if its coming from him and his fog or if it was left over from winter. i need to get going before it all fades and i don't have any type of trail. if its still here it should get stronger the closer i get to him, but first i need to go see my girl. walk into the living room to see her curled up against bash. her eyes are red and shes still sniffeling
"oh sweetheart, i'm so sorry i wasn't here when you woke up" i step closer to her and she holds her hand out to me. i take it and sit down beside her "its ok jax they told me what you were doing did you find anything?" i fill her in on what i found and that i have to go before is disappears "please be
careful jax hes a monster" "not as much as i am sweetheart" i give her a kiss on her forehead and head out the door. lets go hunting.
i follow it all the way into town where it disappears into a small bar. BINGO. i step out of the car
looking around to make sure hes not out int he lot. nope i walk into the bar and look from corner to
corner i see the green fog everywhere but its faint hes definatly been here hopefully still is. i walk
over to the bar and decide to have a drink while im watching for him it will look less suspicious.
ive been here for about 10 min when i hear a man lugh loudly i look to him and see the fog floating
all around him his buddies are all laughing and drinking. got you you son of a bitch. i stand up and start towards him i just need to get him outside i don't car if his friends see anything they'll run when they see what i can do. he looks in my direction and makes eye contact they widen and his mouth falls open i give him an evil grin.
he jumps up and takes off down te hallway where the bathrooms are i see him go out the emergency
exit. perfect i need him outside except when i get there hes nowhere to be seen hes gone his
signatures gone FUCK! i bellow i cant believe he got away he has to have some type of magic hes
not one of us though. even bad nixies don't have that type of fog around them. i rush to the parking lot looking in every dirction i lost him!
i'm driving back home so pissed at myself for losing him how did he get away how did he just
disappear. time to go regroup and tell the guys the bad news at least i know what he looks like now so that's something its not enough though. we have to be guarding her 24-7 i will not lose her again i cant i need her we all need her.
i pull up to the house to find bash sitting on the porch waiting for me "please tell me you found him"
i sigh "i did but i lost him i don't know how bash he just disappeared i don't know what were working with here" he looks down and curses under his breath "shes terrified jax what are we going to do?" "im not sure bu well figure it out we always do.
we all gather around the living room winters hugged up with ash and she looks calm he must be sending it toher good. she deserves to feel calm here goes nothing "i found him but he got away im not sure how he just disappeared" they all curse under their breath and winters eyes go wide "what do
you mean he disappeared" she asks soflty. "he ran out the back door and when i got out there he was just gone, him, his signature. it just vanished" she starts shaking and i feel like shit. "does that mean he has magic like you guys? like me?"
i don't know what to tell her because i dot really know much about it ive never seen anything like this its almost as if hes been given some type of magic that hes abused. "no hes not like us i don't believe hes magic himself i think someone gave him something with magic that he can use" i tell her looking into her eyes pleading for her not to be angry with me for losing him. "im not mad at you for losing him jax i'm just worried" my eyes go wide did she just hear me? i clear my throat. winter?
