winter episode 2

she saw the white oracle I cant belive it. if what she said is true shes been watching her this whole
time making sure she finds us. I cant think about that right now. "So am I going to get to show off
my power or what?" I ask looking at everyone. I really want to show her so she can be impressed.
not that I really care, who am I kidding I want her to be impressed.
When she told me I didn't have to be here I felt a pang in my heart. I got over it quickly though. I
don't want a soulmate or an anchor the guys can have at it but it's not for me. She is a pretty little
thing though, so tiny and delicate I bet I could toss her over my shoulder and carry her up the stairs
with out breaking a sweat. NO! I cant think about her like that.
Ryder rolls his eyes at me "go ahead Cade" YES, watch this little flower prepare to be amazed. I stand
up straight and raise my hands, as I do all the furniture starts coming up off the floor "you can move
stuff with your mind?" winter asks in a shocked tone. pssshhh. "oh no little flower, that's not all, just
wait" I look over to Ryder and he gives me a don't break anything look. yea, yea I'll try. it's funner
when something breaks.
I decide to put everything back down except the table and I call on my water affinity. I gather a ball
of water in my hand and shoot it at the table as soon as the table is ingulfed in water I push my other
hand in its direction and completely freeze it until its nothing but a big block of ice. I smile over at
winter then rub my hands together I shoot them both out at the table and it shatters into a thousand
pieces. I smile proudly "damnit Cade! I just bought that" Jax says. I just shrug my shoulders I'll buy
him a new one, the big baby.
I look over to winter and shes staring at the remaining pieces of the table in awe. "wow Cade that was
insane, did you really have to break Jax's table that's not very nice" she says barely above a whisper
"oh for goodness sakes I'll buy a new one" I roll my eyes is that really all she has to say after seeing
that? I think she's still upset with me about everything that I said to her. I did tell her to stay away
from me. now I'm standing here like an idiot trying to impress her with something she just found out
about. For all she knows this is simple, that we can all do it. she'll probably be able to once her
powers come in.
"So, if Cade leaves and stays away from me does that mean I wont get powers?" what the hell? she
wants me to leave? I huff out a breath "you want me gone? I'm gone!" I start to storm out of the
room, she steps in my way looking up at me with worry in her eyes. "no cade I don't want you to go
it's just a question. I'm trying to understand everything best I can. you're the one that said you wanted
to stay away from me. I want us to get along" she reaches for my hand and hooks her index finger
around my pinky and I feel warmth shoot up my arm. I let out a long breath slowly and try to regain
my composure.
