i'm looking into her eyes she looks so scared. I move my hand to cup her cheek and she flinches it
hurts my heart but I keep it there "sweetheart i'm not mad at you this isn't your fault you cant control
these things yet but i'm so proud of you for sticking up for yourself. And for that awesome show" I
smile at her. she gives a teary laugh. "trust me when I say he will never get his hands on you again
we will make sure of it" she nods her head and rests it on my shoulder i'm so happy she calmed down
and is seeking comfort in my arms she's my everything and I want to be hers too.
I pick her up and carry her back inside by the time im siting down on the couch shes asleep jax
stomps in and plops down o the oppisate side blowing out a breath with his face in his hands "ryder,
I cant let him get near her he knows shes here. she wont be stayng in that apartment anymore shes our
and that bastard wont take her from us he is going to die for what hes done" I know hes upset right
now we all are but hes just going to have to keep uit together a littler longer.
"I know you want revenge right now I think we need to leave it to winter on what we should do
though, she's the one that had to endure that monster" he narrows his eyes at me "she's too nice. she'll
want us to make him say sorry and go about her day." Winter sits up blinking her eyes open "no Jax
I want you to kill him" The seriousness on her face was a little jarring." I don't care how, as long as
he's dead. I might be sweet and the least violent person you know, but if it's between me or him
surviving it's going to be me. As long as he's still alive, he'll keep coming for me"
He looks at her with shock on his face then gives an evil grin. Crap she has no idea what she just told
him he could do. Jax can be sweet and kind but he's got a dark side not even I want to mess with. Hispowers go with his personality. He can create the most beautiful things but he can also bring down a
city with a flick of his wrist. I know he struggles keeping a balance. She just handed him the keys to
his dark side and told him she didn't care how he killed him. That was probably the worst thing she
could have told him.
