"like what?"
I'm looking down at this gorgeous creature in front of me, trying to figure out the best way to tell her what we are.
I can't believe they kept her from me for so long. I should've known as soon as Ryder picked her up off the side of the road.

He could have been slowly introducing her to our world, but no.
I look into her beautiful hazel eyes and get lost. How have I lived this long without her? How are the other guys not falling over themselves to be next to her?
"Well there's not really a best way to tell you, so I'll just come out with it. We are Nixies"
I give her a second to let that sink in. She looks completely confused. It's adorable. "What's that mean?" she asks me. I let out a breath, just tell her D. "It means that we all have some form of power, each of us can do something the others can't and when we're together are powers grow. Then there is you, you are the most powerful of us all. You can anchor us, You are our soul mate"
She stops walking and her mouth is hanging open. She looks like her brain is short circuiting and i'm afraid I might have said too much at once. She's not going to believe me. I have to tell her all of these things though, all I can do is hope for the best.
"What is a Nixie? I don't have any powers, there's no such thing as POWERS. Are you making fun of me?" she says in a whispered tone while she's looking down at her feet. "Of course not Winter! I would never! I would never hurt you physically or mentally"
I let out a sigh. I knew this was going to be difficult, the look on her face as she thought I was
messing with her almost broke my heart. "A Nixie is kind of like a fairy or fae we've been called
many things. But we've always used the name Nixie" her forehead wrinkles and her eyes are squinted.
"The only way you'll believe me is if I show you" here goes nothing.
