I am rewriting this entire story. It is nothing like what it used to be and, rereading it now, I think that is a very good thing.
Anything that doesn't have the (Edited) thing in the chapter title is the old story and to be ignored for now.
Also, at the end of all the editing, the book will probably be much shorter than what it used to be.
We'll see where this goes.
