Chapter 33

     You are now 9 months pregnant. You were so worn out. Your body couldn't handle being pregnant. You waddled everywhere you go. Eddie would gradually place kisses on your belly before he went to work. "I love you three so very much. See you when I get home." He places a sweet,gentle kiss upon your lips. And left for work. Naomi walks into the kitchen,rubbing her eyes. She sits down at the table and places her head down. "What's the matter, princess? Why are you so glum this morning?" You asked. She looks at you and says "Mommy I have been thinking that having a baby brother would be a distraction to me. He would get all the attention. I don't want to feel left out. I love baby brother,but I don't want to feel left out." You looked at your 6 year old,took her hands in your and said "Sweetie,just because there will be a baby in the house,doesn't mean daddy and I will forget about you. You are our first born, and we love you just as much as we love your baby brother. Which, by the way, he doesn't have a name yet. Do you wanna do the honors of naming him?" You had to say something to make her smile. She gets off her chair and walks over to you and says, "I can name my baby brother? I am so excited!" She gets down on her knees and places her hand on your belly. He starts talking to her brother. "I get to name you, baby brother. And I have the perfect name to give you." You stared down at her while she was still talking."So your name is gonna be...Theodore. Teddy for short!" She was on hell of a smart child. You smiled at her and said, "Sweetheart,where did you come up with that name?" Naomi looks at you and said "Mommy a friend of mine at school,her big brother went to heaven, and his name was Theodore. I want to name my baby brother after him. Is that okay?"

   You got down to her level with tears in your eyes and said, "Does your friend know that you are having a baby brother? And is it okay to use her brother's name?" Naomi smiles and says,"I did tell her. She said that it was okay to name him Theodore. We need to tell Daddy when he gets home." You ran your fingers through brown curl locks and said,"You are the sweetest child,you know that. I truly adore you so very much. How about we go to Daddy's job and tell him in person. He goes on break in an hour. So we have to go now to get there on time." She was excited,she hugged you and ran to her bedroom to get dressed. You did the same thing. You out on a yellow dress,with flats. You put your hair up in a ponytail and grabbed your purse. Naomi was wearing the shirt Wayne had given her it says "Big Sister" on it and a pair of jeans with her white sneakers. She was so cute. She grabs your hand and says, "Let's go,mommy. We have to tell Daddy." You smile and follow her out to the car. She gets in the car and straps herself into her booster seat. You get in the driver seat and leave.

  It only took 15 minutes to get to Eddie's job. You parked the car and got out. You opened the door for Naomi to get out. You see one of Eddie's work buddies. He kind of creeps you out a bit. Naomi clings to your hand. You can hear his friend yell, "Yo,Ed! Your gorgeous wife is here." God,he makes you wanna puke. Eddie looks up and notices you two. He wipes his hands off on the rag that is next to him. He walks over to you and says, "Hey,what brings my two beautiful girls here?" He places a kiss on your lips. He gets down on his knees and kisses your belly, and gives Naomi a kiss on her forehead. Naomi looks at Eddie and says, "Baby brother has a name now,daddy. Mommy said that I could name him. We came to tell you." She hugs Eddie and takes hold of your hand. Eddie looks at you and says, "Well,give me 5 minutes. That way, I can clean up, and we can go out and lunch. And you can tell me the name that you are giving your brother." Naomi gets excited and says,"Okay,daddy. Can't wait to tell you."

Naomi squeezes your hand tighter while she jumps up and down with excitement. Frank,the owner, comes over to you and says "Well hello you two. How are you guys doing?" You look at Frank and said,"We are doing great. Thanks for asking." Frank smiles and says,"Eddie has told me that you are having a boy. I would like to gift you something." Before you could say anything,Frank walks away. 3 minutes later, he walks out with a blue bag with a balloon that says, "It's a boy" on it, and hands it to you. You took it from him and opened it. Your eyes filled up with tears. There were so many baby boy clothes in there. Along with booties,pacifiers,bottles,a pack of diapers, and baby wipes. You smiled up at Frank and said while giving him a hug. "Frank,you didn't have to do this. We could have bought all of this stuff." Frank stares at you and says,"Sweetheart,you are like family here. We love Eddie here. And he is like a son to me. And when he said you were pregnant again,I was excited. But I was even more excited when he said 3 months ago that you were having a boy,got me even more excited. So I have been saving money to buy the newest Munson to the family. It was like when Naomi was born,I did the same thing. You guys mean everything to us." You hugged Frank even tighter. You didn't even notice Eddie coming. "I see Frank gave you the gifts he has been saving money for?" You nodded your head and said,"I really appreciate all of this, Frank. You have been ever so kind to me and Naomi. Thank you so much for the gifts."
