October 3rd

Blair's pov:
I woke up this morning to the sound of my phone ringing, I checked the caller ID reading Carley Diaz, my best friend, I grabbed my phone off the charger and answered the call.

"Hello." I answered tiredly

"Blair, you're never gonna guess what I just did?" Carley said on the other line clearly excited about whatever she did

"What did you do?" I asked to show how interested I was even though I wasn't

"I bought two tickets to Tate McRae's show tomorrow night!" Carley shouted through the phone which ended up waking up Devin, my boyfriend

"Babe, it's eight in the fucking morning, why is Carley screaming over the phone?" Devin was annoyed because he got woken up

"She bought tickets for Tate McRae's show tomorrow night and is very excited about it." I explained to Devin

"Well go in the other room or tell her to be quiet. I'm going back to sleep." Devin immediately went back to sleep

"Blair, you still there?" Carley asked realizing I didn't say anything

"I'm still here, you woke up Devin and he was annoyed, but he went back to sleep." I explained walking into the living room and sitting on the couch turning the tv on

"I'm sorry, but I honestly don't get why you're still with him. He's such a shitty person, you deserve better and you can do a lot better than him. Although I do love and support you in all your decisions, babe, but this one I'm not so sure about." Carley chuckled on the other end of the phone

"I don't know, I guess I just don't exactly know what I want and also I haven't really figured it out yet, but I don't want to breakup with him. It would break him, but I'm just not into the relationship anymore. I mean how many times have I called you crying or went over to your house because of him?"

"Way too many to count, babe. I think it's time you get out of the relationship, I want you to be happy with someone who genuinely makes you happy not just because it makes them happy. Devin is only a nice guy whenever he wants to be and he has also manipulated you into doing what he wanted, also I remember when you told me about the night he forced you to sleep with him. You need someone who won't force you to do anything unless you really want to."

"God, that was the worst night of my life and I'm glad that you comforted me that night and let me stay with you throughout that whole week."

"You're always welcome over, B. I love having you over."

"So who you planning on taking to the Tate McRae concert tomorrow?" I asked changing the subject

"I don't know, maybe I'll take a date or my best friend. Who do you think I should take?" Carley asked me as if the answer wasn't obvious

"I think you should take whoever you want."

"Blair, I'm taking you. I don't like anyone else enough to take to a concert." Carley laughed

"That's true, you really don't like anyone, but you love me and I'm your favorite."

"I absolutely adore you, babe." I could sense Carley smiling on the other end when she said that

"By the way, I have dance at 10, so if you wanna come over before you can and you can also go with me if you want."

"I would love to go with you, I love watching you dance." Carley said on the other end

"I'm gonna go, so I can get some stuff done before I have to get ready, but I'll see you in a little bit."

"I'll text you whenever I'm leaving my house. I'll see you later." Carley said before ending the call
