𝟏𝟑 - 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮

October 14th

Blair's pov:
It's been a week since Tate and I broke up. We've been doing no contact so she hasn't tried to call or text. I've been staying with Madison cause not gonna lie her bed is so much more comfortable than mine. Madison and I have been talking and we just instantly click with each other. Baxter and Presley have become best friends. Everything right now has been going good. Not to mention my birthday is in 2 days. I'm not sure what Madison is planning for us but I know it involves Olivia and I doing something. I've been writing a lot more and Madison has been in contact with people to try and get my writing out there. That's been going really well. I actually have a meeting on the 22nd. Life is good right now and I couldn't be happier.

I was currently sitting on Madison's couch watching something random that Madison had put on then she left the room for something. Baxter was in my lap and Presley was snuggled up next to me. I was scrolling through TikTok when I saw Madison sit down next to me. I put my phone down and smiled at her. She returned my smile and man something about her smile. She stopped smiling and I was currently staring at her lips. I mean yeah we've kissed before but this feels very different. Not in a bad way, it's a good kind of different. She caught me staring at her lips and then her lips crashed into mine. I was surprised at first then I leaned into it. I kissed her back without any hesitation. After we smiled at each other. Madison pet both Baxter and Presley even though Presley was on the other side of me.

"Hi." Madison said kissing my cheek

"Hi." I said looking at Madison's beautiful hazel eyes

"Are you excited for your birthday?" Madison asked messing with my hair

"I am excited. Especially since you'll be with me."

"So I was thinking that Olivia and you would go get some lunch. I have a meeting so I won't be able to spend it with you until later that night."

"As long as I get to spend time with you that's all that matters to me." I smiled grabbing Madison's hand

"I wanna take you out to dinner tonight and then we can walk around the city." Madison interlaced her fingers with mine and laid her head on my shoulder

"That sounds amazing, Mads." I kissed Madison's forehead and placed my other arm around her shoulder

"Honestly I could stay like this with you forever." Madison snuggled closer to me

"Me too, Mads." I kissed Madison's head and looked at my puppy

Not gonna lie I still have feelings for Tate and those feelings will never go away but with Madison it's easy and simple. The thing is do I want simple or do I want a challenge? I think Madison is great and all but Tate is the one for me. The way her eyes sparkle every time she walks into a room, her smile, her laugh, the way she cares about the most important people in her life, the way she sings and dances like their is nobody else in the room, just everything about her is amazing.

Fuck. I feel like I'm leading Madison on but I'm still upset with Tate. I don't know what to do anymore. Do I be honest with Madison or do I just keep quiet about this whole thing? Truth is Tate made me feel so loved and appreciated. I miss that. Why can't I stop thinking about Tate? I'm still upset with her and I'm over here thinking about her, what the fuck is wrong with me? Ughhhh I hate my brain.

Tate's pov:
I'm currently home watching tv and scrolling through instagram. I miss Blair but I know she's doing better without me. We haven't talked in a week and it's killing me. I miss her more than anything. I just want her in my arms again. I had saw that Madison got her a puppy as an early birthday present. The puppy is so cute but Blair has always wanted a golden retriever. Ever since we were kids she has always said if she got a dog she would want a golden retriever.
