𝟔 - 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮

October 3rd

Blair's pov:
I saw Tate looking down at my necklace. This was the necklace Tate gave me for my 13th birthday and I've worn it ever since. I love it so much, even whenever Tate wasn't with me I always wore the necklace since she gave it to me. When I wear this necklace it's like Tate is always with me.

"You still wear your necklace?" Tate asked looking up at me

"Of course, I love it," I said glancing down at my necklace then back up at Tate, "You gave me this to me for my 13th birthday and I've worn it ever since," I explained grabbing Tate's hand, "When I wear this necklace it's like you're always with me even when you're not."

Tate smiled and then gave me a quick kiss, "God, you're so cute."

I could feel my cheeks start to heat up at Tate's comment

"You're cuter," I said smiling, "Tate, can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, of course."

"What are we?"

"Well you don't want to jump into anything too quickly so we're just hanging out but I guess you could say we're talking."

"Tate, I don't want you to think this is a rebound relationship."

"Blair, I don't think that at all."

"Are you sure because I literally just got out of a relationship and we're over here doing couple stuff like holding hands, kissing, and you showed me something that you did for us."

"Blair, I'm sure. I mean yeah I can see why this would be a rebound relationship but we aren't technically together."

"Yeah, that's true."

"Listen, if you think everything is going too quickly you can tell me and I'll understand. I want you to be happy and if this isn't what you need right now then I can wait a little bit longer."

"Tate, you are exactly what I need. I went through so much in one day and you were there for me, I'm so grateful to have you in my life. Being with you today has been the best."

"Same here, Blair."

Tate pulled me in for a quick kiss and then she rested her forehead against mine holding me tight in her arms. I just melted into her arms as she was holding me. Her arms were so warm and comforting. I never want her to let go.

"Can we just stay like this forever?" I asked a little above a whisper

"I wish we could, love." Tate responded placing a kiss to my forehead

Time skip
2 hours later

Tate and I got back to my apartment after shopping for what felt like forever. We had also got food and just talked about random things. At times Tate stole my phone and took a few photos and I did the same.

When Tate parked in the parking lot of my apartment complex I unbuckled my seatbelt as she turned her car off. We both got out of the car and grabbed the bags before shutting the car doors. We walked to my apartment and once we got there I grabbed my key and unlocked the door.

We walked inside and instantly I set the bags on my couch. Tate shut the door behind her and then set the bags with the others on the couch. I noticed something on the counter whenever I walked into the kitchen to grab two bottles of water for Tate and I. It was Devin's key to the apartment, I guess he got his stuff, dropped his key off and then left.

"Blair, you okay over there," Tate asked noticing that I was zoned out staring at the key, "You're just staring at the counter."

"Devin dropped his key off," I said picking up the key and turning around to face Tate, "He must've got his stuff because he wouldn't have just left the key if his stuff was still here."
