Blair's pov:
August 9th
Devin and I decided to go out because all of our friends wanted to go out, mainly his friends but Carley tagged along with us. We went to this party that Devin's friend was throwing, I didn't want to go but Devin made me go.
When we arrived at the party Devin disappeared to find his friends, typical, I just stayed with Carley. Carley and I traveled to the kitchen to get a drink, I'm not much of a drinker but sometimes I need to have a drink to deal with Devin and his friends.
"I don't want to be here." I said leaning against the kitchen counter once we got past all the people surrounding the kitchen
"We can go, we don't have to stay because of your stupid boyfriend." Carley said rolling her eyes
"I just don't want him to think I abandoned him, but he knows that this is not exactly my kind of scene. I don't even know why I came here." I say
"Let's just go, we can chill at your house or mine and Devin will probably call you when he's about to leave." Carley says
"I'm gonna go find Devin real quick and then we can go." I say getting off the counter I was leaning on
"Okay, I'll be waiting here for you just come back this way and then we can leave." Carley says
I gave Carley a thumbs up before I made my way through the crowd to find Devin. I walk around the house for about 5 minutes, I couldn't find Devin anywhere, so I decide to check upstairs. I checked each room and finally found him in the last bedroom making out with some random girl, I stood in the doorway for 30 seconds before Devin noticed I was standing there.
"Blair, it's not what it looks like." Devin said with an innocent look on his face like he didn't do anything wrong
"No, it's exactly what it looks like. You're up here making out with some random girl. What the fuck, Devin?" I yelled full of anger at this point
"Blair, can you try and be reasonable-"
"Try and be reasonable? You have got to be fucking kidding me? I have every right to be angry with you Devin, god you don't even realize that you are so fucking suffocating!"
"I'm gonna need you to leave before you do something you regret." Devin says walking towards me
"I came up here to tell you that I was going home, so continue on making out with that girl. You could fuck her for all I care, I really don't care. Do whatever you want tonight, I'll see you at home." I say before shutting the door and going back downstairs
I walk back to the kitchen where Carley was still at and walked up to her.
"You ready to go?" Carley asked looking up from her phone
"Yep, but instead of going to either of our houses, we should go out and have good time by ourselves."
"I've been waiting for this." Carley said grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the house, "I know exactly where we're going." Carley said with a grin on her face
"You are quite literally scaring me right now, but I have nothing to lose." I said shrugging my shoulders
"I'm gonna need your keys." Carley said sticking her hand out
"I don't know if I should be scared or happy." I say chuckling while grabbing my keys out of my pocket and handing them to Carley
"Just trust me." Carley said
