Elijah and Quinn managed to find privacy in her apartment. Sam and Tara was out which meant that Quinn had the whole place to herself. Elijah brought Italian takeout for them and they ate their dinner together while they talked.

"It was unnecessary for you to bring dinner over," Quinn said. "Kind, but unnecessary."

"I was hungry, and you are, too, apparently." Elijah smirked at how she was devouring her pasta.

"Guys usually don't do this for me. They just show up, we have sex, and then they get out."

"Well, my hunger is more important than my horniness, so..." Elijah drifted off, taking a bite of his sandwich.

"Are you a virgin?" Quinn teased playfully.

"No, I'm not, and neither are you, obviously." Elijah smirked.

"Let me guess, you lost your virginity to Naomi, right?" She assumed.

"What? No," He answered as if it was ridiculous. "Naomi and I knew each other since we were in diapers. She's like another sister to me."

"Oh, I thought how close the two of you were."

"We are, but never that close. If you must know, I lost it to my first girlfriend, Liv. She died last year."

"Sorry to hear that."

"Thanks, but it's okay."

"Remember your first?"

"Not really, just that it happened at the backseat of some guy's car," Quinn shrugged, not really caring about it. "I know. Not that romantic like it sounds, right?" She asked sarcastically.

"There can be a worse place," He looked at her curiously. "How about your first kiss? Who was that?"

"A boy in the fifth grade, my first crush. You?"

"It was with Tara actually at her twelfth birthday party," He chuckled at the memory. "We played Spin the Bottle. I spun the bottle and it landed on her."

"Aw, that's sweet." She teased and they both laughed.

"Um, are you on birth control or...?" Elijah trailed off.

"I am, don't worry."

"I still brought condoms anyway. My Mom would kill me if I knocked up a girl in college." Elijah remembered the embarrassing lecture about having The Talk: The College Edition with his parents.

"My Dad would flip if I got knocked up." Quinn chuckled.

"What about your Mom?" He wondered.

"She died with my brother in the car accident." She frowned.

Elijah really didn't expect that.

"Oh, I'm sorry..."

"You don't have to feel sorry for me, Eli." Quinn gave him a look.

"But it must not be easy to lose a brother and mother like that."

"No, it's not." She admitted quietly, looking forlorn.

Quinn looked at the mess they made on the coffee table that had their empty plates. "We should clean this up and then go to the bedroom, okay?"

"Okay." Elijah helped her clean up.

When they were inside Quinn's bedroom, Elijah looked around in admiration.

"I like how you decorated your room." He complimented, making her snort.

"You're like the first guy who ever said that. Stop being nice to me. The dinner, the talking, the compliments..."

"I can't help it," Elijah said innocently, shrugging his shoulders. "My mother raised me to be a gentleman."
