19. Served her right

Sweat was dripping from his forehead as he was driving. His mind was chaos. His inebriated eyes were fixed at the road while he increased the speed. The thumping of his heart was increasing with each second passing.

"I can't loose you, butterfly. I'll stop this..Just wait up... " He mumbled shifting the gear and increasing the speed more.

He took the right turn but how wrong that right turn was.

His eyes suddenly enlarged watching the car gushing straight towards him with full speed just like his own. The car forcefully halted, his foot stamped on the break as he rolled the steering. The car tilted colliding with a tree.

His head slammed forward and blood started dripping. His eyes were slowly closing which he was trying to keep open. He tried to get up but his whole body numbed. No matter how much he was willing but he couldn't move a single muscle. His entire strength disappeared while he was feeling pain from everywhere.

Black dots formed in front of his hooded eyes while he heard footsteps coming towards him from far. Everything was black and numb when he heard those words penetrating in his ears.

"She is mine, "

Jungkook shut opened his eyes and saw the pale ceiling above him. His breathings were sharp, cold layer of sweat formed on his forehead, his palms were shaking while his heart was pounding in his chest. He got up abruptly,

"Kook, " He tossed his head and met with Yoongi's panicked eyes. He looked down and that's when he noticed where he was.

"Who told you to bring me here, hyung. I need to go to Y/n, " Jungkook snapped at Yoongi while throwing the duvet off of his body and tried to remove the wires connected to his wrist but Yoongi stopped him.

"Where are you going?" He asked coldly clutching his hand..

"Y/n.. She is fucking marrying to someone today.. I've to stop this, " Jungkook spat and looked down to pull the wire but Yoongi's next words turned his soul numb.

"It's been three days, you're unconscious. "

His whole body stiffened hearing those words. His gaze numbed as he slowly trailed his eyes towards Yoongi who was blankly staring at him.

"T..three day... "

Yoongi nodded making Jungkook wordless.. Almost soulless..
Jungkook looked down trying to process something at least.

"I'm marrying tomorrow, Kook, " Her breaking voice echoed in his ears.

"She is already married, " He heard Yoongi saying that from distance..

His heart shattered into countless pieces that he himself wouldn't be able to ever gathered any fine piece of it..

His eyes brimmed with tears as he tried to recall how everything went to this extent. His organs were numbing. He couldn't feel anything. He couldn't process anything.

"S...she m..married.. " He choked on his own words which felt bitter on his tongue. Yoongi's chest tightened.. A deep unbearable silence engulfed the room as Jungkook stare at his lap with his blurry vision completely stirred.

Suddenly, Jungkook sniggered.

"S..she actually pushed me away, " He sniggered shaking his head, while his nose scrunched in self pity. Yoongi tensed up watching his state as his own eyes turned glossy..

"Kook, " He called out softly

"She said why should she risk her life to be with me.. She told me that she doesn't want to be with me anymore ... she said I always forced her to be with me... and now
s.. she wants to think about herself and live her life.. " He mumbled more like comforming to himself then to Yoongi.
