Y/n slowly opened her eyes and fixed her hazy vision. She stared at the gray ceiling above her before scanning her surroundings. She frowned cause she clearly remembered she was sitting in the balcony last night. She was waiti...

Her heart felt a painful pang when she recalled that she was waiting for him, and then last nights events flashed in her mind. He didn't return last night. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to control her tears.

She sighed heavily and slowly got up when she heard the knock on the door. She permitted the person, and as expected, Ava walked in. She greeted her respectfully while Y/n returned the gesture.

"You fine? " Ava asked with a slight worried tone, placing the tray of food on the bedside table.

Y/n nodded with a small smile that didn't reach her puffy eyes. Ava sat beside Y/n and placed her palm on Y/n's head to check her temperature as she had got a fever last night.

"How did I come here, I was in the balcony," Y/n asked, causing Ava to meet her skeptical gaze. Y/n saw her gulping nervously before answering.

"Y.. you were sleeping in the balcony. I made you walk here, did you forget?"
Y/n frowned, hearing Ava's reply as she avoided her eyes. Y/n slowly looked down, trying to remember, but she didn't remember anything. May be because of the stress, she forgot. She sighed and looked at the time, but her brows shot up when it read 11: 17. She slept pretty late?

"Are you feeling well?" Y/n looked back at Ava hearing her.

"Yes, I'm fine now, "
Y/n assured her to which Ava sighed heavily and scooted closer to her, making Y/n confused. She took Y/n's palms in her hands and cupped it with her both palms before meeting her gaze again.

"I don't know what happened Y/n, but I want to tell you something." Ava spoke, with a hint of hesitation in her eyes, which made Y/n furrow her brows. Ava pursed her lips because she didn't know how to tell her or how would Y/n react.

She knew she couldn't force Y/n to believe her, not that she had any proof to prove her point, and besides, she was just a maid here. She knew she was overstepping her boundaries by interfering in their personal lives. It was just Y/n who treated them all, like a family, but that didn't mean she could cross her lines, not until she had any string to support her words. But still, she had to tell Y/n and aware her about that cause she somehow believed that Y/n would trust her words. Taking a deep breath, Ava mustered her courage to speak.

"Actually.. Y/n... Miss Eunhae," Ava trailed off, which made Y/n's frown deepen.

"I don't feel something right about Miss Eunhae. She is not what she looks like. She is so strange. Please don't trust her blindly. Y/n." She uttered as Y/n's brows released slowly.

"Don't get me wrong, please. I've noticed some things off in her behavior. She acts differently in front of you and Mr. Kim, but sometimes she smiles ugly like a twisted person. She gives off some weird vibes. Even Yuna mentioned that yesterday she talked to her very rudely. Something just doesn't feel right about her Y/n. She is not a good person,"
Ava tried to describe her concerns as best as possible. Her words made Y/n stare at her for a brief moment before she looked down at her lap.

She remembered her last night's conversation with Eunhae at the garden before everything happened. Now, when she was thinking about it, whatever Eunhae was saying, nothing made sense. It all seemed strange now. How did she know about her past? Why did she keep bringing up those things again and again even though anyone could've said that it was triggring Y/n at that time. She wasn't comfortable with that conversation, and she had even told that to Eunhae clearly.
