"Relax. Everything's gonna be fine," Y/n assured, noticing how impatiently he was tapping his foot. She was nervous, but he seemed more anxious. She was lying on the examination table, and he was sitting beside her. Taehyung sighed and held her hand.

The doctors arrived shortly after. Taehyung glared at the doctor as she started checking her. The lady noticed his eyes and frowned. She looked at Y/n quizzically, but she just smiled nervously.

"Make sure everything is fine or else Ill make you end up on that same fucking hospital be-"

"Taehyung,"

His words cut off as Y/n interrupted sternly, though his glare stayed fixed on the elderly woman. The doctor removed her stethoscopes, giving them a weird look as Y/n let out a sigh before apologizing to her.

"I'm sorry. He is just worried.." She smiled tightly before giving Taehyung a side eyes, who didn't budge.

"Oh.. " The doctor nodded, giving Taehyung a nervous stare as he kept boring holes at her with those intense, warning eyes.

After reviewing her medical history and running the routine checkups, the doctor led them to the ultrasound room.

Y/n's grip tightened on Taehyung's hand as the screen lit up, showing something fluttering.

"Well, it looks like there's not just one - there are two babies," the doctor smiled, pointing at two small shapes on the screen.

Taehyung froze for a moment, his eyes darting between Y/n and the screen mindlessly while Y/n was just staring at the screen with shock.

"T - two?" He stammered, voice filled with a mix of disbelief and awe as he felt a surge of excitement in his body.

"Yes. Two," the doctor confirmed, turning up the volume so they could hear the heartbeats.

Y/n's eyes glistened up as she looked at Taehyung,whose face lit up with his brightest boxy smile. Leaning closer, he kissed her forehead affectionately..

"I'm so happy. Thank you! Thank you so much, little doll," He whispered, his voice thick with emotion, and she felt her heart exploding with happiness.

After that, they sat, waiting in the doctor's office for the results. Taehyung was tapping his fingers on the desk anxiously while holding Y/n's hand tightly. She was super excited.

When the doctor returned with reports, Taehyung immediately straightened.

"How's she? There's no complications because of the twins, right?" He asked impatiently.

"The babies look fine so far, Mr. Kim, but we'll need to conduct further tests to confirm everything. Also, they are not twins."

Taehyung and Y/n exchanged confused glances upon hearing her.

"You said there are two babies?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes. But they are not twins. Mrs. Kim was already pregnant before I confirmed her pregnancy." She clarified. But it only added more to their perplexity.

"We know that. You said I'm about two months pregnant," Y/n responded, puzzled.

"Yes. You're two months pregnant with your first baby. But the second baby is five weeks old. There's a 15 - to 18-day gap between their growths. This is a rare condition called Superfetation where a woman conceives a second baby while already pregnant,"

"What the hell are you saying?" Taehyung snarled, frowning in utter confusion. Y/n just stared, equally shocked and confused.

"I know this is surprising, Mr. Kim. I'll explain everything." She assured.
