Episode 5: Competition

3rd P.O.V.

Nighttime...

It was nighttime at New York as the spider brothers are seen patrolling the streets. Swinging around and doing parkour keeping their agility in shape until passing a manhole cover. A loud boom was heard underneath the streets with the same criminals from before Marco and O'Hirn running out of the giant hole they made as they're carrying two large bags.

Maco: First time I've ever blown my way out of a store.

O'Hirn: Yeah, Marco. Biggest score we ever made. I'm loving it.

Marco: I'm loving there's no Spider-Man or Scarlet spider down here to cramp our style.

Scarlet spider: Didn't know you had any style.

The two turn to see Scarlet spider and Spider-Man coming down from a giant hole in the sewers catching them by surprise.

Spider-Man: Hi, boys.

Spider-Man web the bags and pulled them away from the criminals before Scarlet spider follow it with him webbing the two and restraining them.

Scarlet spider: Next time, try using something that's less explosive so we don't hear it a mile away.

Later...

Marco and O'Hirn are seen behind bars after being taken away by the cops. The look upset and frustrated after losing their score.

Marco: Two bags full of cash, and we lost them. I can't believe it.

O'Hirn: I can't believe we lost to that pathetic little web-creeps again.

One of the cops from the station unlock their jail cell.

Cop: Bail's been paid. Guess pond scum can have friends. Who knew?

After their release Marco and O'Hirn step out of the station as their presented by a female limo driver holding a sign to them with their names on it as she opens the door for them. Once they stepped inside the vehicle, they're introduce by none other than Hammerhead himself.

Hammerhead: Get in, boys. Oh, and welcome to the big time.

Y/n P.O.V.

Morning...

I was inside my brother's room as I watched Peter trying to show off web slinging skills to me. I guess he wants to show me how much he improved during the last few months. I'll say that he's improving more and more, however I'm worried, not just him but Aunt May as well. For the last few weeks since the end of summer vacation, we have been facing new enemies one after another.

And each of them is becoming more dangerous after the next, first it was Vulture, next it was Electro, then it was the Lizard, and last Shocker. However, this time we learned that Shocker was actually hired to stop us, permanently I mean. It was too close of a call when we faced him, I barely managed to fend him off by myself when I first met him.

When I think about it makes me wonder what would happen if one day, one of those criminals managed to pull off my or Peter mask. The thought of my family and friends being targeted by the criminals we put behind bars because our secret identity was revealed. It sends shivers down my spine knowing I can't stop them from doing anything horrible to them.

Peter: Hey, Y/n are you watching?

Y/n: Huh, yeah, I am so far, you're just shooting randomly at anything and wasting webs.
