Episode 12: Intervention

Y/n P.O.V.

After MJ told us this morning about Aunt May recovery from her heart attack. We glide our way towards the hospital as fast we can then deactivated the suit and turning it into my normal civilian clothes. As we enter the hospital and make our way towards the front desk to ask about where Aunt May's room is.

Y/n: I need to see my aunt. May Parker.

Eddie: Room 204.

I turn to see, Eddie to my surprise.

Y/n: Eddie, why are you-?

Eddie: Because I still remember what a great lady she is. When Gwen told me Aunt May was here... I figured it was worth stomaching you for her sake. Should've guessed it wouldn't be an issue. I mean, why would you be here? She's only the woman who raised you and Peter.

After he said that to us, he walks away not before pumping our shoulder which pissed off the symbiote.

???: *thought* Asshole! Will bite your head off!

To be honest I felt guilty for Eddie since he had no one after losing his parents but that isn't our problem, what more important is Aunt May.

Y/n: Let's go... forget him.

We then make our way towards the room number, where Aunt May is staying.

Room 204...

As we stand next to my brother and Aunt May, Dr. Bromwell is explaining to us on how Aunt May is doing.

Bromwell: Yes, she's in recovery. In fact, she's doing very well.

Aunt May: See, Peter, Y/n, I told you.

Y/n: Aunt May, you had a heart attack.

Aunt May: A little one.

Peter: That's still no excuse. You got us scared.

Bromwell: Thankfully. But you shouldn't treat this lightly.

Y/n: We won't. Thanks, doc.

Dr. Bromwell leaves the room as we took a seat to speak with Aunt May.

Peter: How are you feeling, Aunt May?

Aunt May: I am feeling much better now that I know you two are all right.

Y/n: Aunt May, I'm so sorry I wasn't here sooner-

Aunt May: Y/n, you came as soon as you heard. But now it's time for you two to go.

Y/n /Peter: What?

Aunt May: It's a school day. I wish I'd thought to pack you two lunches before this whole heart thing happened.

Us and Peter laugh at Aunt May enthusiasm but deep down that was too close of a call. As we left her room a nurse came to us with a clipboard.

Nurse: Excuse me, Mr. Parkers? I just need one of you to sign a few forms for your aunt. You two are next of kin?

Y/n: We're our only kin.

The nurse handed us the clipboard before leaving.

Nurse: Your bill's on the second page.

As the nurse left, we took a look at the bill and saw how much it was that it made Peter jump back in surprise.

Peter: Whoa! That much?!

Y/n: You got to be kidding me...

Peter: What to we do, Y/n? We don't have that kind of money.

Y/n: I'll figure something out...
