X tensed his grip on the knife.
"What?" I froze.
"A-Are you for real?" Gabe's voice cracked.
"Yes..." Amari sniffed again, wiping her tears with her shirt sleeve.
Gabe stared off into space.
Meanwhile, I was getting extremely angry inside.
"How did they die?" I asked through gritted teeth.
"Murder." Amari responded.
"The fuck? Did the detective say who killed them?" X asked.
"Nothing more... He just said they'd let us know more details in a few hours..." Amari replied.

I looked over at Wifi and noticed he was tense and frozen.
"Yo. You good, Wifi?" I asked.
"We have to find out who did this shit." He said through gritted teeth.
I could tell he was blacked out right now.
Amari knew too.
"Isaiah, calm down, we will." She said to him.
"Yeah vro, let's just wait a few hours for the call, just sit on the couch and take a breather." I put my hand on his shoulder and brought him to the couch where he sat down.
We all sat there in complete silence, doing nothing, for the next 3 hours.
