Y/n pov

I was getting changed after taking a shower in my hotel room. I stretched after putting on my pajamas and went on my phone to see if one of the higher-ups or Gojo sent me a mission to complete. I sighed after not seeing anything and went to lay on the bed but couldn't help but feel my stomach turn.

I sat up and felt extremely worried about Yuji for some reason. I grabbed my phone and tried calling him but after some time my call didn't go through. I was starting to get nervous since Yuji would always pick up his phone when I called him in seconds. I bit my nails as I started to think about him telling me our grandpa was dead.

I knew Yuji and him were close and that his death affected him but I knew he would talk to me if he wanted to talk about his feelings. I shook my head and threw on a jacket and left the hotel for a little midnight walk. I sat at a nearby park as I got a message from a higher-up who sent me a new mission in Kyoto. I raised an eyebrow since I was rarely sent to Kyoto but shrugged my shoulders.

I went back to the hotel and packed up my stuff for tomorrow. After I packed up everything I got a text message from Gojo that only said 'Sorry' I was confused and texted him 'Why are you sorry?' But he didn't reply. I shook my head and just went to sleep.

The next morning

I woke up and put on my jujutsu uniform. I stretched and grabbed my bag. I got out of the hotel and walked to the train station. I couldn't help but feel sad for some reason as I got on the train to Kyoto. After I arrived in Kyoto I walked to Kyoto's jujutsu high since they made a room for me. I knew why they had a room for me because they had tried to kidnap me before so that I could join their school but I was always saved.

I sighed as I took a step onto the school grounds and got instantly tackled by Miwa as she kept saying "Y/N OMG ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!" Mechamaru ripped Miwa off me as I stood up and got patted on my shoulder by a smiling Noritoshi. I waved at them and asked "Hey guys. I have a question do you know where Utahime and Principal Gakuganji are? I need to talk to them. And before you say anything no I am not transferring to Kyoto I'm just here on a mission."

I heard Miwa huff a bit in sadness as Momo told me where Utahime and Principal Gakuganji were. I thanked Momo and left. I walked into the Gakuganji's office after knocking on his door and them both sitting at his desk. "Hey, so you needed me for a mission?" I asked as Gakuganji grumbled a bit as he told me about the mission while Utahime kept looking at me.

I thanked Gakuganji for the information left his office and walked to the dorm room that was designed for me. As I entered the room I put my bag down and stretched a bit. I sighed happily that I didn't bump into Todo or Mai since both of them were the worst people to bump into since they would try and force me to join Kyoto... I mean Todo would just ask for my hand in marriage for some reason and would start chasing me for hours after I said no.

I left the room and went to the designated location of the mission. 'Okay, Y/n. It's just a first-grade curse with some other curses lower there's nothing to worry about... but why am I still worried about Yuji? Did someone happen to him!? Gosh, I can't get rid of this feeling' I thought as I entered the abandoned buildings. I walked upstairs and summoned Ignia. He instantly wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my hand my eye twitched a bit since I had told him to stop before but he never did.

"Lady Y/n why did you summon me? Have you finally decided that I was enough for you?~" Ignia asked letting go of my waist and spun me to look at him. "No Ignia. I summoned you that you can help me with my mission" I said as he huffed a bit. We walked through the abandoned building and we split up. I went upstairs while Ignia went downstairs since it would be faster to finish the missing. I stumbled across the first-grade curse and it noticed me. It ran towards me and I dogged it before it could touch me. 'Curse technique: Fire dragon iron fist!' I thought while punching the curse with flame.

I kicked the curse while it was still in flame and as it made contact with the wall it turned into ash. I walked downstairs as Ignia waited for me. I waved at him making him bow and go disappeared making me sigh and stretched. I walked back to the Kyoto campus and reported my mission to Gakuganji. After I did I went back to my room but overheard Momo and Miwa talk. I didn't like eavesdropping but felt a bit curious and listened in. "Did you hear a first-year of Tokyo died yesterday?" Momo asked Miwa as she said "No I haven't heard! Who was it?"

"I don't know but apparently it was Sukuna's vessel!" Momo said as Miwa sighed a bit in relief "At least it was Sukuna's vessel! Who knows what would have happened if Sukuna's vessel ate more of his fingers!" Momo hummed in response I sighed and walked into my room. 'Sukuna's vessel is dead? Umm okay... but I'm still wondering why Gojo said sorry to me yesterday. Eh, whatever I'll just ask him tomorrow since Gakuganji said to get ready for the goodwill event. Plus I need a fat nap' I thought as I flopped on my bed and slept.

Meanwhile somewhere else in the morning

"So who are these guys?" A girl with orange hair asked. "The second years' Maki Zenin she's one of the best out of all the students at welding cursed tools. That's the curse speech user Toge Inumaki he can only speak in rice ball ingredients and that's Panda. There are two more, Okkotsu and Y/n they are the only second years I truly respect." The boy with black hair said.

The next morning Y/n's POV

I yawned as I woke up. I looked at my closet and noticed I was still in my uniform so I went into the bathroom and showered. I hummed while showering. I got out of the shower and put on an extra uniform I had in my bag. I stretched and left the campus after saying goodbye to Mechamaru, Miwa, Momo, Utahime, and Noritoshi. I got on the train to Tokyo and ordered some f/f. I thanked the worker as they handed me the f/f and ate it. I sighed after finishing my f/f I looked out the window. I looked up at the worker who asked for my empty food bento and I gave it to them.

I stretched as I finally got to Tokyo and stood up. After gathering my stuff I walked out of the train station. I got something to drink from the vending machine after texting Ijichi to come pick me up. I saw a car pull up and saw it was Ijichi. I got in and thanked Ijichi for taking the time out of his day to pick me up and told him I was sorry that he had such a tight schedule. Of course, he thanked me like usual as he drove me to campus. I couldn't help but feel excited to see my friends again after almost 5 months.

I mentally cursed at the higher-ups for sending me on so many missions. I looked out the window as Ijichi asked me "So Y/n how have you been? Also, have you heard about the first year?" I looked at him and said "I've been good Ijichi-san. And yes I've heard about the first year I feel bad for those who knew him." Ijichi nodded his head as he continued driving.
