TW: Mention of Blood.

===============

POV: You

Stars.

Those big balls of light in the sky that would sparkle in the night like diamonds.

You had always been fascinated with them.

Begging your parents for any books on stars, telescopes, star maps, anything and everything.

Every time you looked at the stars you couldn't help but lose your breath.

So here you were, laying on your bed, looking up at the ceiling of your room.

You had painted a star map on it long ago. By hand actually. And after days of research you had made sure you were accurate-

"[name]! Are you still asleep or something?!"

Snapping yourself out of your thoughts, you sat up in surprise.

"No, I'm already up!"

"You sure?! It's really quiet up there!"

You sighed and walked to the door of your room and began walking downstairs to the kitchen.

You had already changed into your uniform, plus you had woken up early so you weren't in too much of a rush.

Plus, it was your third year at this point, so you were pretty over everything and had developed a routine.

As you walked downstairs you encountered the person yelling at you.

Well.

Not a person.

More like a ghost.

"Gnocchetto, are you going to make yourself breakfast or are you going to make us all worry and go starving for the rest of the day?"

"Calm down Caesar, I have plenty of time to make myself breakfast and my bento for lunch."

Caesar Zeppeli. He died at the young age of 20 years old in 1939. Though he liked to act cool and collected, he was an absolute piece of shit who loved messing with you. And even if he does mess with you for a majority of the time, you see him as a brother.

He ruffled your hair as you reached downstairs to see Erina already waiting for you.

"Sorry for sending Caesar after you, I just wanted to make sure you weren't late for your first day of school~"

Erina Joestar. Erina Pendleton before she married Johnathan Joestar. Like Caesar she was also a ghost. But unlike him, she had lived a long life, dying at the age of 81 in 1950. She and Caesar had actually briefly met when they were both alive and were surprised to see each other again after death.

She had set out some of the things you needed to make breakfast, which you thanked her for.

You lived alone, for most of your life. Both your parents are always working overseas so you had to get used to not seeing them as often as you did when you were younger.

But luckily you weren't ever alone.

You finished your breakfast, ate it, and made your bento for the day.

There were dirty dishes in the sink, but you would deal with that after school.

You had prepared yourself for school yesterday, so your school bag was already by the entrance ready to go.

Putting on your shoes, you were being goaded on by Caesar,

"Come on [name], hurry up! I think I've been waiting here for so long that I could die all over again~"
