POV: You

You were the one to call funeral services to take Ryohei's body away.

Tomoko was still crying, and Josuke was basically unresponsive.

Jotaro had been in the house as well for some reason or another.

But honestly. . .

You didn't give enough of a damn to care.

It might have been a stand accident that killed him, and honestly that got you a bit angry thinking about it.

But you simply couldn't be angry at him.

Not when you were grieving.

You helped Tomoko plan and paid for most of the funeral.

She said that you didn't have to, but you really did. He was family. Tomoko and Josuke are family. And family takes care of each other.

You were just doing your best to take care of them like they had taken care of you.

The funeral came and passed.

Ryohei's personal belongings and clothing would stay where they belonged, in his room.

Untouched.

To get rid of them would be too painful to even think of.

So they would stay in his room.

Josuke stayed in the house while Tomoko was staying with a friend.

You offered to stay with Josuke, but he told you he would be fine on his own.

Something was off, really how he acted was just confirming your suspicions on how Ryohei's death might not have been because of foul play.

Stand foul play.

So you decided the second best thing to do is deliver Josuke lunch and dinner.

He was an alright cook.

But you knew it would be easier for him to eat something already made and not have to stress about cooking and looking over his shoulder all at the same time.

Now he could eat and look over his shoulder.

It has been about 3 days since the funeral.

It was raining.

You were preparing the lunch you prepared today for Josuke and Jotaro.

You had noticed that Jotaro was hanging around as well so you had taken to giving Josuke extra servings to share with Jotaro if he was hungry as well.

As you walked to the house, lunch in one hand and umbrella in the other, you saw Jotaro rush into the house.

It made you pause.

Caesar and Noriaki stopped beside you.

You could only sigh.

"There's definitely a stand in there."

"Yup."

"I'm going to have to pretend I don't see it aren't it."

"I mean, technically you don't have to~"

"No, I'm gonna."

You walked towards the front door.

Taking a deep breath you entered the house and called out to Josuke.

"Josuke! I brought lunch!"

The house was quiet except for the water dripping down the leaks and water running from what you can assume everywhere in the house.
