POV: Koichi

We all watched as Rohan's car drove away, and all I could feel was nervousness and unease.

For some reason Jotaro had reacted strongly to one of [name]'s portraits.

It was the same red head I had seen before, but instead of being by the ocean he was sitting under the shade of a tree with a book in hand.

[name] definitely didn't want him to see it with how quickly they pulled it away, but I didn't know why.

Was it something to do with their Stand?

I hadn't told anyone yet, but it was killing me inside that I was the only one who knew that [name] had a Stand.

It could explain so much of everything really, but I kept my mouth shut.

I couldn't help but remember their face of fear as they practically begged me to not tell anyone they were a Stand user.

For a while it was quiet until Jotaro looked towards Josuke.

"I need to talk with [name]."

Josuke immediately shook his head.

"Not happening, [name] told me to keep you away from them, that's exactly what I'm doing. Unless you have a damn good reason to need to talk to them I'm going to respect and enforce their boundaries."

He simply lowered his hat to cover his face.

Jotaro really was emotionally constipated wasn't he.

I took a deep breath.

"Jotaro, [name] is a lot more scared of you than you think. I don't think that they're going to even let you get a word in without running."

Okuyasu interjected.

"Koichi's right, you are pretty intimidating."

I sighed.

"That's true, but it's not what I'm talking about."

I steeled myself and looked up at Jotaro.

"You probably reminded them of an unpleasant memory. I've noticed that they always look behind themselves and don't like being approached from behind suddenly."

Realization seemed to dawn on everyone.

"Whatever you did reminded them of something so unpleasant that they can't help but associate you with that unpleasant memory."

He looked away.

"Before even talking to them at all I think you owe them an apology."

It was silent after that.

Jotaro looked back towards me.

"How do you apologize to someone who won't let you get a word in?"

I thought for a moment.

"Send them a letter."

And Jotaro left.

It was honestly kind of sudden.

But I guess he took my advice to heart and decided to write the letter immediately.

Huh.

Looks like he really wanted to talk to [name].

I turned back to see Okuyasu and Josuke simply staring at me.

"What?"

"I don't know whether to pat you on the back or punch you."
