COPPER-9 was a pretty large planet. But, only a handfull of cities. The colonies were still pretty youngs when the core of the planet collapsed. But, tonight, if you search the many rooftops of the biggest city of COPPER-9. You may find, if you're lucky, find two murder drones on the roof of a sky scrapper. Usually this would be a sign to run for your life, but not tonight. Tonight these two murder drones aren't out on a hunt, or guarding a specific place. No, tonight, the two of them are cuddle up together, chatting. If you listen closely, you might even hear someone yelling in the distance.

"WHY DO THEY GET TO HAVE THE NIGHT OFF ?!"

After sharing a quick laugh at J's exasperation, N and (Y/N) looked back up at the night sky. If his internal clock wasn't lying, then the meteor shower would start in a minute or two. Though, even without it, the star filled sky was a stunning sight for the two murder drone. They were almost always looking straight ahead, or down at unsuspecting workers. So looking up to this beautifull scenery was a nice change of pace after nights of nonstop work. The cold air of the night soothing their heated components as the two murder drones enjoyed both the scenery and eachother's company.

"Hey N ?"

(Y/N) said breaking the silence, her eyes not moving away from the stars.

"Yeah ?"

N replied in a calm, soft voice that (Y/N) had rarely heard him use.

"Thank you for taking me with you on your night off, I really needed a break."

She said as she looked up at N as she sat on his lap.

"Well, you looked like you needed one."

Her colleague replied as he flashed her his trademark smile and gently patted her head. That's when (Y/N) saw a bright ball flash accross N's visor. Looking back at the sky, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Bright balls of light flew left to right, contrasting with the dark night sky as she watched in awe, unable to take her eyes away from the mesmerizing show in front of her.

'Heh, must be her first time.'

N thought as his digital eyes went from (Y/N) face, that showed a child like amazement, to the sky. It wasn't N's first time seeing a meteor shower, but, just like (Y/N) he couldn't take his eyes away from it once he started looking at it. Meteor showers were on of the few things that never got old to him, no matter how many times it happened. So they sat, enjoying nature's show, and even if for just the shortest of moments, their problems didn't seem so important anymore, nothing did. They forgot about the fact the workers had begun arming themselves, their dwindling reserves of oil, how J got more and more irritating everyday, or how V refused to do clean kills to not waste oil, and a thousand other issues and worries. They forgot it all...

"You should make a wish."

N said, making (Y/N) raise an eyebrow a shift in his lap to look up at him.

"Why ?

-The very first time I saw a meteor shower, the human with me told me that, if you make a wish when you see a shooting star, it'll happen. But you can't tell anyone what the wish is."

The murder drone explained, still looking at the meteor shower. (Y/N) hummed, and silently made her wish. Soon after, the meteors stopped.

"Did you get time to make your wish ?

-Yeah...I did. What about you ?

(Y/N) questioned, letting her head fall back into N's shoulder, her eyes scanning the sky, going from one star to the other.

"I made my wish when it started."

N replied with a small smile. The two stayed like this, enjoying the small silence. It was rare for them to be able to just... Sit down and exist.

"We should do this together again sometime."

The disassembly drone said to the one in his lap.

"Yeah, we should. But I also think we need to get going. J's going to get pissy at us if we actually take the whole night off."

(Y/N) joked as she got up from N's lap, and dusted herself off before offering N a hand

"I never understood why she gets mad about us taking a whole night off. Especially since it's given by the company."

N said as he walked to the edge of the roof and spread his wings out. Right as he was about to fly off, he got an idea.

"Before we go back to the spire would you like to do some late night flying ? It should be alright if we take most of the night off...As long as we don't take the whole night off J shouldn't get mad..."

He proposed with a smile.

"Sounds like fun N, I'm in."

The shorter drone answered before both lept off the edge and took off into the sky, soaring high above the clouds and through the air.
