--Narrator--

N was stretching in the spire, her dark winter coat helping her blending into the shadows she used as a safe space. It was essential for her to make sure her body was ready for another night of hunting worker drones. As the female of the squad, N was on the lighter side of things, made more for speed and agility than her two male coworkers who held most of the squad's fire power. N was more of an assassin, staying low in the shadows and picking off lone drones or high priority targets like the officer of a worker squad whereas J and V we're more like tanks, made to take most of the damage and shred through hordes of workers with heavy weapons.

"N ! Time to go on patrol !"

N made sure her winter coat's belt was correctly fastened before she joined up with her two squad mates, ignoring V's glare and J's predatory gaze. The smaller yet deadly drone saluted her squad leader before leaving the spire and as per her hunting style of staying low, N did not spread her wings and take to the skies, instead opting to stay on foot. Unaware of J's whistling as he examined the disassembly drone's body.

"She'd be perfect if she wasn't so useless."

The leader said in a deep, wanting tone.

"I really don't get how you see anything in her, moreover it's not like she wants to get with you. Plus maybe there someone already looking for you.

-Like who ? Most of the disassembly units are men and I sure as hell am not gay.

-Yeah, I know."

V said, his voice hiding the sadness he felt.

"Well, I got to go."

J said before he took to the skies. Leaving V alone as his emotions  festered and boiled within his metal frame. His CPU's thoughts spiraling down and becoming darker and darker until an idea popped in his mind, an idea of pure genius. With a malicious smile V finally spread his wings and flew away.

--Meanwhile--

N walked towards the worker who desperatly tried to get closer to it's fallen gun, unable to walk without his legs, the drone crawled on it's stomach, feeling it's oil leak out onto the snow covered ground. Reaching for his gun N kicked it away before raising her arm, changing her hand into a silenced platinum coated P99 N shot the drone through the visor.

'This was close.'

N thought as she looked around herself. This small squad of eight workers should have been an easy target, but not this time. When she had picked off the squad leader, instead of scattering in a panic like every other squads, the heavy unit of the squad immediately took charge of the squad's action. Ordering the squad with excellent leadership, the worker managed to somehow force N into close quarters combat which put her at a disadventage. At first N still managed to fight on equal footing by using their higher numbers agaist them, weaving inbetween the drones, making them accidently shoot eachothers as she slipped in attacks admits the chaos. Unfortunatly, when only two drones remained N couldn't use that strategy anymore, the two drones left were the heavy unit armed with a sledgehammer and what she assumed to be a medic armed with a Sa vz. 61 Škorpion SMG. The two drones stuck together like glue, always keeping the disassembly drone in their sight. If N kept her distance the medic would peak from behind his heavely armored friend and shoot, forcing N to stay on the move which drained her stamina. On the other hand if she tried going in close, the one in armor would swing his hammer at her at speeds she didn't expect.
