--Narrator--

Uzi walked down the corridor of the colony, it was pretty late but she had more pressing matters to take care of. They had an assignment due tomorrow morning and both her and Thad had forgotten about it the whole week-end and had to get it done before their parents found out. Usually Uzi wouldn't care and just take her father scolding and grounding but this time was different, she had been hanging out with Thad more and more this past month. When she was with him Uzi felt at ease and would be in a better mood even if she didn't let it show, her core rate would go through the roof when Thad would throw his arm over her shoulders when he greeted her in the morning or when their hands would accidently touch, hell even him just being too close would sent her core into overdrive. She knew what this meant but she wouldn't admit it to herself, so instead of just staying in bed she got up and told herself she was going to Thad's house so that he wouldn't get a bad grade and scolded by his parents.

*knock knock knock*

"Thad it's me, open the door !"

Uzi made out the sounds of talking and footsteps on the other side of the door before the door opened. Thad must have not realized he was in nothing more than boxers and a t-shirt with how he acted, walking up to Uzi and throwing his arm over her shoulder as he usually do and greeting her with his usual cheery self.

"Hey Uzi ! What brings you here so late ?

-Well, uhm, w-we kinda forgot to do our a-assignment.

-Oh right ! I knew we were forgetting something ! Well come on in, we'll should be able get it done pretty quickly."

The jock said as he walked back inside with Uzi following close behind.

"Thad who is this girl ?

-Mom meet Uzi she's here so we can do our assigment , Uzi meet mom.

-Well before you do that you might wanna put on some pants Thad."

Thad's mom said before going back to whatever she was doing.

"Put on some pants ?"

Thad repeated as he looked down.

"OH ! UH SORRY UZI I'LL BE RIGHT BACK !"

The teenager said before running into his room to change. Meanwhile Uzi just stood there, when suddenly a pop-up notification apeared on her visor

Uzi quickly confirmed her action before Thad opened the door to his room, now wearing a pair of jeans.

"Sorry about that Uzi, let's get to work."

--Timeskip--

"Finally done. Robo-lord that was hard, next time we should probably not do it the night before the due day."

Thad said as he flopped down onto the bed next to Uzi.

"Yeah, we probably should."

Uzi replied with a chuckle.

"Your cute when you laugh.

-What ?

-What ?"

Both drones looked at eachother for a bit before quickly looking away.

"Well it's late, I should get going."

Uzi said as she glanced at the clock, it was now 2 in the morning.

"Want me to accompany you ?"

Thad asked, Uzi thought about it for a bit and caved in at the image of her and Thad alone for just a little while longer.

"Sure."

She replied before hopping off the bed and strectching her tired hydrolics.

"Come on let's go."

She said to Thad as both exited the bedroom.

"Hey Thad do you mind if we stop by the supply closet ? I need to get something.

-No sure go ahead."

Thad said as Uzi opened the door to the supply closet, it was a very small closet with barely enough space for two drones and with shelves on all three sides.

"C-Can you help me find it ?

-Sure what are we looking for ?

-Just some double A batteries."

Uzi replied as her and Than walked in the closet. Due to how small it was, the two drones were basically body to body. Uzi could feel her core beating in her temples as she felt Thad's chest pressing agaisn't her back as he tried to reach a high shelf. Suddenly the sound of hydrolics comes from behind both of them, as the two struggle to turn around they hear the noise of the door being locked by a keycard as well as footsteps running away.

"Uh oh."

Thad says as he tries to open the door to no avail.

"What does uh oh mean ?"

Uzi asked, not sure if she should be thankfull or hatefull to whoever had locked them in.

"The door's locked."

Thad said as he turned back around to face Uzi. The two were face to face, barely a few centimeters appart and as Uzi had an internal meltdown from being so close to Thad, her body pressing agaisnt his due to the lack of space. Thad, on the other hand desperatly tried to contain many things, weather it be his blush, his intrusive thoughts or the raging boner that had decided now was the perfect time to come and say hi.

'Play it cool Thad, don't listen to them. Don't do it, don't even think about doing it, don't even think about not doing it ! You had a plan to confess next week-end, don't do something stupid Thad, be a chad and will it down !'

"Pretty akward ey ?"

The jock said in an attempt to do some small talk and lighten up the atmosphere.

"Y-Yeah"

Uzi replied as her shoulders relaxed a bit and she let her head rest onto where Thad's collar bone would be if he was a human which did not help Thad's self control in it's battle agaisnt his intrusive thought.

"So, got any plans for tomorrow ?"

The green eyed worker said as he slid his arms around Uzi's hips, a gesture that didn't go unnoticed by the ladder who almost got a core attack from it as her mind slowly fell into mayhem as it tried to figure out what to do.

"No, I don't think so."

Uzi replied as she hugged Thad back and looked him in the eyes.

'Fuck it, we ball !'

Finally letting his intrusive thoughts win, Thad leaned in and kissed Uzi. The purple drone was caught off guard but quickly leaned into the kiss as both thightened their hug on eachother. Both felt like their cores were going to explode as the kiss escalated into a full blown makeout session. Both workers let out all the pent up emotions that had been building up over the course of an entire month, once they were done both were exhausted, sweaty and out of breath.

*click*

"Is this thing rigged or what ?! Just when we're done it magically unlocks itself ?!"

Uzi yelled, baffled at the door's actions, unlike her Thad found it very funny.

"We should do this again some time Uzi."

Thad said with a smile as Uzi walked into her living quarters.

"Yeah, next week-end ?

-You bet."

The jock replied as he did finger guns and gave Uzi a wink before walking away. Looks like they'll be forgetting to do their assignment next time too.
