The Supreme Angel of Heaven felt turmoil in his heart for the first time in many centuries. Repressed memories of the past, of destruction flooded his mind. Memories of his younger years and of paradise. The ideal world, so grand even heaven could not compare.

Lucifer wasn't always the Heavenly Commander he is known as today. The current Lucifer, greatest of the angels, judge of heaven, had a tainted past of darkness ill befitting his grand image.

[Paradise-Eons Ago]

Lucifer, the first Angel, was known for his chaotic and childlike behavior. Having fun with women of many races (becoming the de facto Father of the graceful Angel race), resting in beautiful places, eating the most delectable food in all of the Heavens, fooling around with friends; in short, doing whatever he pleased. No responsibilities, no burdens, in the truest sense of the word, Lucifer was free.

Why is that?

Why is that?

It's simple. He was strong and talented, effortlessly doing what others couldn't. A joy to be around – since he was kind to everyone – and why wouldn't he be? After all, feelings of anger, hatred or malice were completely alien to him. He was beautiful, exceptionally so, even among Divine beings. His features were so famed that his fiery red hair was known and sought after throughout all of Heaven. His glorious wings of the same hue, a symbol beloved by all.

Yes, that was indeed a Paradise, a Paradise that is long lost. What happened you might ask? Chaos and Darkness emerged from the heavenly light... A war between Divinity and those who were envious of it of its perfection— The Old Ones. Eldritch beings that despised and envied the beauty of Paradise invaded the once beautiful world; creating an Era of Chaos. And so, Chaos created a new age which erased the former Paradise, bringing it to ash and sin.

Theme:

Lucifer, due to his strength, was inevitably forced to become one of commanders of the Heavenly Army. He was thrown into bloodshed and war, which he formerly never knew of, and was forced to fight for not just his own life, but also his commanders and those they protected. He was forced to see the blood and corpses of his friends, family, and kin. He saw the once beautiful Heavenly Paradise, which he adored, transform into a desecrate hellscape drowning in the blood of its divine residents. Putrid corpses of its Eldritch transgressors scattered throughout the realm in piles of gore and dread.
