With the dust settled, the crowd could see the brightly glowing sword Arthur now wielded, held in bloody hands. The sword to bring humanity one step closer to salvation.

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!" Moros cried out in shock.

"Oh my! It's amazing!" Thoth gasped.

"A measly human overcame the mighty Lucifer?~ My my~" Dionysus' drunken praise echoed around his room. The cup in his hand was close to being crushed from his grip.

"That's it Arthur! Just a bit more and you have won!" Humanity cheered again for the brazen warrior king.

"So that is the true power gifted by you, my lady." Merlin muttered, eyes blown in excitement. "It has arrived in our time of need. The long rumoured sword of legend: Excalibur."

"Holy cow, people! In response to Lucifer's act of extreme compensation, Arthur has revealed the truly gargantuan nature of his pe-I mean sword!" Crowley announced as Thoth whacked him over the head.

"He's done it! He's done it!" Legion cheerfully chanted as they pranced around Solomon, stars sparkling in their eyes.

"I wouldn't be so sure yet, Legion. Lucifer is certainly not a foe to underestimate." Solomon calmly replied, halting the demon in his tracks.

"How can we not celebrate? Look at him. He's lost an eye and has his chest shredded by that sword! Surely that's a death sentence for Lucifer, even if he is the 'supreme god'!"

Lucifer's body felt pain like never before. It blazed through his body, searing like molten lava had passed under his skin. It took everything he had to stop himself from passing out. Standing tall once again exposed his grievous wounds as he coughed blood into his hand, metallic and hot. He clenched his fist.

"Even with your newfound strength you will not win." Lucifer shifted into a combative stance again. "That sword may surpass Eveningstar, but it is still wielded by a human. It cannot reach its true potential."

Arthur remained standing tall as the force from armageddon sent his body into a constant state of agonizing pain. Bael appeared behind him, sweating and panting from incredible exhaustion. "Arthur...I unfortunately cannot help you from here on, but I—will remain here with you until the fight is won....That blast has forced me to reach my limits."

"That is fine, Bael. This fight shall be finished soon. Even if it results in our loss, I will forever be grateful for you to stay by my side until the end. Now shall we bring this fight to a close m'lady." Arthur said, pushing through all of his body's warnings. His joints and nerves screamed in strain— but he defied his limits, and moved forward.

Ruler and Ruler, human and angel. Their eyes met as they both knew this would be their final exchange of blows. This was now a battle of attrition and strength. Whoever faltered once would be the loser. Whoever succumbed to their wounds first would lose. It was now or never.

"Most impressive display, human. If you had been faced with any other opponent you may have won. But here, your luck has thinned. It is time to end this, king of knights." Lucifer shifted his body, preparing to land the final blow on Arthur.

"I am glad that you have been my opponent regardless of if I live or fall. With you, I have awakened my true potential, with which I may have even surpassed you. But let us now finish this, oh mighty angel." Arthur readied Excalibur, his mind and body prepared for this final assault.
