Once the two had finished conversing, Lucifer prepared his attack. He spread his wings fully across the sky, each individual feather pulled taut; and clasped his hands together. From the cracks of his hands, one could see a blinding light emitting from his palms, slowly growing more possessed and thunderous as the seconds passed.

The light in Lucifer's palms was becoming more and more ferocious, as though a vicious force was stored inside. The light shone so bright that it reflected off Caliburn, coating it in a shining fleece of brilliance. The photons moulded together, the final trumpet was blown. Together, the silhouette of Morningstar began to take shape—though something seemed off.

With such extreme power building up, I have no choice but to try and finish him before it releases. Arthur pondered, trying to settle on a plan of action, with Bael worriedly helping him as best as she could.

With the pain in his legs still burning strong, Arthur hurled himself forward, Caliburns blade pointing towards the heavenly force of destruction. He dug his heels into the ground, and wind magic shot out from underneath his feet, rocketing him behind Lucifer.

Lucifer spared him a glance before the king even reached his destination and jumped back, slamming Morningstar in Arthurs direction. The mortal sidestepped the blow and swiped at the god, only for him to do the same. His blade clattered against the angels, yet the same could not be said for the seraphim, who held Morningstar undaunted. The two fighters jumped back again, and were forced to meet each other's eyes while sizing one another up.

Were in the home stretch folks! Crowley announced to the audience, And its neck and neck! He popped open a wine bottle, watching the cork shoot into the distance, May the best Monarch win!

Lucifer took a deep breath as light gathered around him. Feeling the influx of energy, Bael spoke to Arthur urgently: "Human, move it now, he's goi-'' But before the demon could finish speaking, Arthur had already swung his sword at Lucifer, a flying slash of fire and lightning scattering in the battlefield. It split the falling cork in half that fell between them, but it did naught to deter the king.

Lucifer quickly reacted, his brilliant wings pushing the attack away. The light he was gathering had disappeared and seemed to have been stored in his wings, as they glowed even brighter once it left his palms. Arthur did not let up, as he shot forward with a gust of wind, lightning coating his fist. However once again, the angels wings stopped the human's attack.

'He's not letting me charge it,' Lucifer thought to himself before being forced to block Arthur's attack again. He quickly backed away and started to fly around Arthur, creating afterimages around the king of knights.

"Damn it all..." A black haired knight spoke out with anger in his voice. "Even though I was on par with Arthur when we were alive... Shit! I can't count the number of times I would have been killed against that damn angel." Mordred cursed, as sweat beaded upon his temple.

The battle raged on between the two. Lucifer created a ring of afterimages around Arthur, and before Arthur could respond— 【HOLY SPEAR】 vibrated through the arena. The reflections chanted together as they fired off a piercing light from their fingertips, bombarding them onto Arthur. But the king of men did not falter in the face of death, for he had overcome it so many times before, even in this very battle.

New ideas of magic sparked into his mind— Arthur raised Caliburn in the air and slammed it into the ground. Lightning coursed through the earth, before shooting up through the crevices he created. The air filled with rampant particles: the thunderous spell formed a protective dome around him, stopping Lucifer's attacks. Merlin would have bequeathed the protection spell a grand name, such as Tumultuous Sanctuary had he been there to study it.
